Acturian Academy Updates

The club server is a great way to get involved at the academy! If you have already joined, our server recently underwent some major maintenance, make sure to re-assign your roles to yourself in the appropriate channels in the server! Some new clubs have also appeared! Cooking and Tea club were merged to form Food Club. Christian and Deities were merged to form Religion Club, and Art and Creative Writing were merged to form Fine Arts Club! Happy Choosing!

Mentors and administrators have made the decision to push the start date of next semester to October 28th! This is just to give us more time with our new increased number of students and to help us create the best lessons for you all that we can!

Mentors and Staff are slowly gaining access to their new business emails! Our new email is [email protected] (no gmail!) You will be receiving class emails and updates from emails with these domains from now on!

bio update: i think i did really well on the exam! and the quiz! i was the first one done with the exam after around twenty minutes and was kinda weirded out at how long everyone took but i really studied for this one so i feel proud of myself! i may have gotten even a 100! if i did, i will be so so happy bc that means i can definitely get an A in this class. so far tho, i just have an 85 so we are getting there slowly but surely!

Classes and an Update

For those that care...

So before I end up uploading another chapter of any of my main stories, I’m going to restructure many of my characters to make them properly fit into more of the typical Fantasy Classes. This will have a major effect (visual, skill wise, back story, etc.) on characters not in stories and a lesser (maybe even negligent) effect of those currently in a story. 

At most I’ll let it take two weeks with me (if need be) dismissing characters that are ultimately unnecessary, uninteresting, or simply fill a role that too many other characters fill.

At the same time though, I will be finishing up the script to the next couple of chapters (probably 2 or 3) of Trace. There’s really only a slight amount of things that I’d actually want to change/add but either way, it’s gonna have a shit ton of pictures that need to be taken, and it’s going to be EXTREMELY dialogue based. If anyone has any questions about anything, I’ll be sure to answer it post haste.

- anxiety - very good at current career, one that won't last forever but will lead to similar, related careers - same career as dad, still sort of work with him, coworkers knew who we were because of it when we started - coworkers have seen unflattering baby pictures due to misplaced proud dad - hockey family - taking a photography class senior year because it's cool and I have credits to blow - not good at photography

New, Lower Prices for the New Year!

One of our biggest priorities at Valkyrie WMAA has always been to make training as accessible as possible. 2017 Holiday Closures

Happy holidays, everyone! We’ve got a few class cancellations as we head into the December busy season: Palaestra (4:00pm-5:00pm Thursdays): on hiatus until January Longsword (5:30pm-7:00pm, Fridays): on hiatus until January Dec 25th: all classes cancelled We’ll also be holding our usual New Year’s Day sparring/workout/”move until your hangover hurts less” class at 12pm on January 1st.
