LOUISE & ANDREW

ELEGANT IVORY STATIONERY 

Louise and Andrew got married in the picturesque Ballmagarvey Village and wanted a simple and elegant stationery suite that celebrated the venue. We decided on a very classic colour palette of ivory and white as our foundations with black accents, tied together with a personalised monogram by yours truly. The back of the invitations were adorned with a bespoke illustration of the vintage venue and the suite was finished off with a white bellyband, again embellished with their initials.  For their “On the Day” stationery, Louise & Andrew decided on the “When we were this age” theme for the table numbers, and we had a lot of fun and giggles organising the photographs for each. Their elegant theme also progressed through to their thank you cards, which showcased a stunning photograph of the happy couple from their big day.  Thank you Louise & Andrew for pushing me out of my comfort zone with this one! I had a lot of fun with the design and am so happy you had such a magical day! Congratulations.

NICHOLA & NATHAN

15TH SEPTEMBER 2017 / HARVEY'S POINT, DONEGAL

CLASSIC ROMANTIC WEDDING STATIONERY

When I first talked to Nichola & Nathan when they asked me to create their stationery, they said that they didn't really have a "theme" as such but that a word kept cropping up when people would describe the vibe of the day - "Romantic".

After sending me a few inspiration photos of the style of stationery they liked I decided to go for a simple, clean design incorporating their initials, with an ampersand as decoration adding a soft and romantic look to their invitations. I wanted to keep everything classic but modern, matching the couple's minimalistic style. Deep eggplant purples and greys complimented each other matching in with the bridal party colours. I then adorned the suite with a silver shimmer belly band to keep everything together nicely and to add a wee bit of sparkle of course!

I also had the pleasure of creating some of their "On the Day" Stationery too. Keeping with the romantic and soft theme, I created a simple seating plan using board and purple silk draped at the sides, which added a touch of elegance.

For their table numbers, Nichola and Nathan wanted a "When we were this age" theme, and so with the help of their mums, Sadie & Mandy, I collected old photos of Nathan and Nichola to use in the designs. It was so much fun to go through all the photographs and I really loved how they turned out!

I want to personally thank Nathan and Nichola for letting me be a small part of their big day! You two are made for each other and I hope you have a fantastic life together! Thank you for the memories.
