Got any covt ideas on the mind currently?

if we are Being honest, nothing really recent or current.... but I think a lot about the goths all the time Everyday . especially with covv, and Sprat making an appearance.. and October...... my leige(s) 🙏

but I also think a lot about Elysia norms and customs, and how they might've changed after Vlad's whole situation . And speaking of Vlad, where did Vlad go after graduation? I feel like he would go 2 college after the fact, but then find it kinda useless for being half-vampire and in a freaking vampire council and have a vampire girlf. Maybe he travels the world with Otis...

Plauntie, have you heard about Murder Hornets? They live in Asia but some got shipped here from Japan & now they're infesting north America. Their stings kill, they live in the ground, if you step on their nest it's game over, & I'm just a little anxious about it? Honeybees in Japan have evolved to surround them & vibrate to heat themselves up to an inhospitable temperature which then kills the wasps, so my first thought was let's make a Japanese/American honeybee? Is that ecologically wise??

I have. We don’t know that it’s an issue yet; only a couple were seen, and it’s unknown if there’s a breeding population or if simply a few wasps came over in a shipment of some kind. 

Their stings are painful, but to an average non-allergic adult not fatal. Reports of their legality to humans are over-exaggerated because they make splashy headlines. 

Measures are being taken, and the best thing to do right now is simply wait and gather data and see what develops. If it was a few isolated wasps, no issue. If there’s a breeding population, then take steps to eradicate them before they spread. 

I’d not panic just yet.

What Cassandra-like situation?? You can't leave that in the tags, plz I need the explanation!

i worded it wrong but your tags and the post that you tagged me in made me think about how dorian does have parallels with cassandra!!! he was literally tortured for a year straight, has the prophecy inscribed into his very soul, but whenever he talks about it his words just get brushed off as the “ramblings of a madman.” so little of elysia’s population believes in the pravus prophecy, and he knows it’s true and keeps trying to warn people, but nobody believes him. 

dorian’s curse is having to carry the pravus prophecy and nobody believing what he says about it, except for the whack-jobs like the Alumno, just like cassandra. i can see him warning vikas, tomas, d’ablo, as many people as he could who were interested in the prophecy that their involvement wouldn’t end well, but he was ignored.

Also doesn’t Tomas seem like the sort to have other bank accounts with money? When he disappeared after the fire he had to have some funds somewhere right? Vlad must’ve gotten so many phone calls about stuff Tomas owned? “You’re the owner of this property in Rome, yes?” “Uhh, yeahhhh?”

( D’Ablo did say that a good portion of Tomas’s property was seized when he fled Elysia. So I’m guessing a lot of his property was then ‘owned’ by the councils in an attempt to catch him if he did flee there. So, save for the house in london and the house in Bathery, Tomas probably didn’t have a whole lot of property. 

As forbank accounts, yeah, totally. Though those were more than likely handed over to Nelly to hold onto until Vlad was 18. and depending on how much Tomas took with him, Vlad’s probably even more loaded.)
