CLOWN, a usually colorfully costumed comedy performer in a circus.

He is killing it in the spotlight! Truly a wonderful performer having positively influenced many with his astounding performances.

And negatively impacted the lives of many, many more when the curtains drop.

My buddy recommended me a variety of musicians to listen to in preparation for his recommendation: Sodikken, Penelope Scott, and The Scary Jokes (they're also the only one I can find on Tumblr also @thescaryjokes). But by no means will I downplay my friend's work in the meantime, given he, too, is a musician and editor.

The music had me consider how to approach this and it seems going with plain old pixel art and just having a silly time seemed perfect. Once I wrapped everything up, I even decided to do a high poly version!

Which at this exact moment I now realize was not properly saved and thus no longer exists.

I guess this is what I get for sending them to Clown Hell so casually.

Once had a dream I went to Clown hell for getting in a Clown car wreck (I was the 163rd body recovered) and getting buried without makeup on

It doubled as conservative heaven, which was very efficient, but also tortuous to my existence, and actively harmed my spirit until I woke up in tears.

What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her.

garbage. he’s unredeemable garbage and he knows and enjoys it and that’s why i like him. (also, red hair and he’s very pretty)

Is he/she important to the general plot?

yeah. i think hisoka has a profound effect on gon and how he approaches the whole hunter thing

Can you relate to this character at all? Does he/she grip you emotionally?

i would like to murder him violently and i think he’d enjoy that, does that count having something in common?

Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by his/her relationship with any other character(s)? (romance-wise or platonic)

i sort of ship him with illumi because they’re both garbage but alas there just isn’t enough creative torture porn between them so my feelings are lukewarm about the ship. oh, yes, also feitan a little bit, because feitan hates him and that’s what he deserves

Is there anything about the character you would change?

i would make him dead, but only at my own hands

If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how would you see yourself interacting with him/her?

i would tear his heart out with my bare hands and probably eat it

yes. yes he does. if i ever finish any original fiction there WILL be a character based on him

Would you hype up this character (if you like) or warn about this character (if you dislike) to someone new to fandom?

i would definitely warn anyone about him, but i’d be too hype about him while doing so and so it would (and has been) just plain confusing for everyone

Is this character popular with the fanbase?

i honestly don’t know who actually hates him, who loves to hate him, and who is just lying to themselves, so... i don’t fucking know
