As for Henry Hanover-Stuart Windsor Fox…his mother is a wolf. She comes from a long and prestigious line—many lines—of wolves. She fell in love with a human. Despite the initial shock and disdain for marrying outside of tradition, having two children born as healthy, strong wolves calmed several of the loudest, bigoted voices.
And then Henry came along. The youngest. The favorite. The human. But nobody else knows that last part.

The phone fit inside an artistically gold-foiled box from a patisserie. So long that Henry didn’t smell the macarons that were originally inside it, Alex could maintain his expensive reputation.
He cut right to it: What does a retirement package look like?
The prince was terrible at sleeping through the night, so his response came quickly. Either a new identity or enough money to decide yourself.
Alex had a genius with a government job on his side, not to mention how any paperwork given to him by the prince could be a liability. Money. List?
Henry was clearly going through the phone and their contact options, because he asked, Why is the email addressed to hrh.rapunzel?

“I don’t know why someone wants the pretty golden boy dead. That’s your job to find out. Or at least, it’s a chore you take on every time. What’s different with this one that’s stopping you?”
“There’s nothing!” he exclaimed, albeit quietly. He kept his stride long and swift, turning down another block to keep his conversation private and on the move.
Nora scoffed, “There’s always something.”
“He’s just a guy.”
“Aw, and he’s not like other guys?” she taunted with syrupy, romantic wistfulness.
“I’m serious. He just busted me for breaking into his bedroom and then gave me a goddamn sliver of cake for my troubles!”
Another pause as she processed that. “You’re messing with me.”
