Satisfaction To Remember
A sun-kissed hand dragged over the paler skin of a pulse point, the digits taking their time to follow the path of the vein until it disappeared below the surface of the skin. Emerald eyes flicked up and met closed lids and a stray, wispy curl that caused Emma to smile. The Amazon noted how much warmer she was in comparison to Hunter, but she knew why that was, the scar on her wrist making sure she knew why. The way her eyes glinted when she looked at herself in the mirror serving as memory.
She shifted slowly and curled her arm around his middle and dragged him and herself closer together into the (or closer to, Q was a snuggler) center of the bed. She nosed at his brow line and smiled tiredly, "Here comes th' sun--" she sang against his ear lowly, grinning with her eyes closed as she felt the MI6 agent shift and move just in the slightest. Emma's fingers played with the loose curl on his forehead and pushed it back after a few beats so she could land a kiss on his forehead. There were few days she got this -- they got this. Sleeping in and sweet good mornings with the light English roll to his voice and her own Kansas kissed tone whispering to each other in the early morning. To make it more special, this was only the second time she had stayed at his flat. They hadn't even had sex this time. Emma had stripped down to her panties and bra before crawling into bed and waiting for Hunter to join her. She had to get up and take his laptop away from him first, but she still got him to come, change into his pajama and get into bed and relax. Emma managed to persude him to read something to her that wasn't about computer programing after that too. She'd fallen asleep with her head on his chest and fingers curled slightly to hook into the fabric of his shirt.
Now it was morning and she shifted to straddled his waist and kiss up his neck to wake him. "It's morning--" she drawled out as she dragged her teeth ever so gently over his jawline, fingers pushing up his sleeping shirt so she could run her fingers up his stomach to his chest and push the shirt off of him.
A book fell to the floor.
