This is a really bittersweet au :)
So, Papyrus got hurt really bad and Sans, scared to lose his bro, goes to Alphys' lab.
He knows about the experiments and Amalgamates, and chooses to inject himself and his brother with Determination, knowing fully well that it was the only way to keep him alive, and that there would be consequences....
They melted. They united. They became an amalgamate.
It may seem sad, but they couldn't be more happy. They just needed each other. So they gained peace.

The bone bros amalgamates and Alphys produced a serum that can make them fuse completely. After some tries, they got it working, and now they became Comic!Papyrus
