Part 1
Part 2
There was that long, drawn-out moment even after the Commander asked him such a difficult question. Most people were biased and when it came to their own opinions on how they would change the view, they would simply ask they give them a chance to prove it. Or, they would say that their own wisdom was the right path when it was often, as the Commander stated, to be one sided.
His singular blue eye seemed to drift off, eyeing the children in the distance that were playing amongst one another. This singular vision as the children showed no bias, only playfulness and banter. It took a calculative step onto a downtrodden path. A path that leads him to where he was today. The path of monsters.
" I share them of my tale, not of one that leads down the path of my own suffering in this moment. No. I would tell them the tale of a young lad who was wronged by his kin for appearing different and forced to live a hardship of corruption that took his own mother away from him. " His gaze now fixed onto her now, seeking her eyes for consideration now.
"... It all starts with the children. When you thrust a familial destiny onto them without so much as a choice, you rob them of what they could be and ingrain them with ideals that are not always practical. Ideals that are sometimes paved in blood and envy. Every child in this world deserves a home and love. They take responsibilities that they didn't ask for because it's easier to give in than to thrust yourself through the challenge. Even the worst of the worst start off as misunderstood children that didn't have a choice always, no matter the cause. "
