First chapter is done!(basically)

Finished the first chapter of current writing project, obviously not perfect yet but now that I got the words down I can move on to chapter two.

In honor of doing so, here's an example:

The pain was sudden and unbearable, rooting itself deep into skin and muscle, but thankfully missing any major veins. The feeling of blood seeping through the cracks in myself, travelling downward by pull off gravity and loudly dripping on the floor---pat... pat... pat---it was such an unbelievably foreign feeling that the pain shocked me out of action. Leaving me wheezing upon the table as I tried to breathe through that pain, pull through the stabbing, ignore the way my bloods falling sped faster and faster into a constant trickling. It took the machine voice calling again to snap me out of unhinged nervousness.
