Aroace culture maybe is not knowing if you are just feeling feelings cause you feel like you have to or you actually want those things; not knowing if you’re an allo who just can’t make it work or someone who is acespec ambivalent whose life doesn’t seem to pursue the things their brain sometimes swears they need to be a real person. I don’t even know if that’s right and if I am welcome here.
Hey, it's okay to be unsure. Identity can be weird and complicated and finding what fits can be a long, complicated path. My path certainly was. If you ever want to chit chat or ask questions about aroacespec identities, I'm more than happy to, and I'm sure that goes for many others in the aroace community. 🫂
It's okay to be 'wrong' and find a new label, it's okay for things to change. My goal here is to foster community and showcase the variety of experiences that fit under the aroacespec umbrella, not judge who does and doesn't count as aroace. As long as you aren't being exclusionary or bigoted or generally mean, you're more than welcome here.
