[He mumbled to Con', rather anxious about the whole ordeal. Sure, Con' had reassured them that it was okay, that they could handle anything, but they didn't know his parents yet]

[After collecting their luggage, the pair set off for Jouko's village. Jouko was very tense about it, but tried his best to seem uncaring]
