I have started my second playthrough, now starring Rosha Aldwir!

I was going to make Conal, but he looked better as a woman, so he is a woman now.

She is the daughter of Shona Surana and Warden Novhen Tabris but was raised as an orphan in a secluded chantry off the North Road. Her mother was not yet 20 years old when she was taken to Kinloch Hold, and only after she arrived did she learn she was pregnant. A Circle is no place for a pregnant elf. Every poor mood and outburst is seen as an admission of susceptibility to possession. She was slated for the Rite of Tranquility before the child was even born and given until then as the deadline for her own mind.

Novhen met Shona again during the Fifth Blight as he fought to save Ferelden. She had been Tranquil for some years by then, and he did not know the questions to ask to learn of their daughter. Rosha remained undiscovered and was shuffled off to Jainen Circle once her own magic developed not long after.

The Mage Rebellion came and went, and somehow, she survived it all. When magic started acting strangely in Arlathan Forest, she summoned all her bravery and traveled north to join the investigation. There, she was taken in by Clan Aldwir and finally given a home with them...

At least until she lost a map and this odd pair of dwarves begged her to join their fight to save all of Thedas. That's a whole thing.

Conal Tabris/Surana! (depending on the verse)

Conal was born Firstfall 9:25 to a Circle mage and taken away to a Chantry orphanage before his mother could even hold him. He was told he had no living relatives.

Magic developed young. He was four years old when he accidentally summoned a shower of sparkles onto his fellow wards. The Sisters had been watching him closely and sent him away to the Jainen Circle with great haste where he stayed locked up until the dissolution of the Circles.

I have to be very careful when i think about him or else i’ll get too tempted by the idea of his Hero of Ferelden father finding out he exists and doing all he can to rescue him from the Circle.

:) hi!! Thank you so much for the bartkon content and explaining them bc now I get it and can enjoy the ship. Do you have any other images showing them being protective of each other or saving each other? That’s what really I like in my ships is when they try so hard to protect. If not that's okay. You convinced me to read. Lol.

Hello! Glad to have more people appreciate the ship! As for them protecting/saving/guarding each other there are several moments where they both step up. There are more instances than what I'm going to show but here's a few I remember immediately because I just read these issues and they are fresh in my brain.

The epic following set comes from Teen Titans v.3 #82 (which has a lot of GREAT Kon/Bart moments).

Kon protects and guards a compromised Bart (he got burned) and gets 'barely tapped' later which prompts Bart to pummel Leonard 74 times, then they work together to get an edge over him which finally leads to his defeat.

Not necessarily "saving" Bart here but Kon sort of is (from falling to his death). TTv3 #83 & #84

Young Justice 1998 #5 Big bi energy, Kon grabs both Cassie and Bart (even if Cassie didn't need it).

Superboy #99

Bart saves "Conel" from death via his Scouts despite knowing they might die, and it might kill him in the process due to the last time a Scout died.

In Young Justice 2019 Bart goes above and beyond to save Conner from Dr. Glory, apologies for how blurry the text is.

"You know. Give him a second... He'll find Conner."

This is my absolute favorite spread showing Bart's powers at work and the look on his face when he finds out just where Dr. Glory sent Conner delights me to no end. That is a look of pure disgust and rage.

A little later Bart finds Kon in Skartaris and directs Sideaways to dispose of the kryptonite sword. If they were just seconds later, Kon would have died.

That's what I remember immediately for now, if anyone else has more moments feel free to add!
