girl i just came across ur recent post and discovered u have a tumblr omg😭😭 you've no idea how much i ADORE ur lemon tree series it was like hitting a jackpot when i first stumbled upon it.

tbh for me its kinda hard to find any fanfic that touches on intimacy problems topic even tho im aware its a very delicate subject that obv requires tact and discernment, but ur series was tastefully done and has been lingering in my mind for a loooong time

if u dont mind me asking what made u decide to have sylus as the catalyst in the story? im aware that his core theme surrounds the concept of consent and vulnerability, but i wanna know more from ur perspective how u approached his character to assist in mc's healing

truly any stories I come across that explore topics like intimacy after rape and/or intimacy-related anxiety always stick with me & i'll still think about them years later.

as for sylus specifically, i’m a little unwell about him, i won’t lie lol. he really is THE consent king.

not sure if i succeeded, but i also wanted to touch on the downsides of a personality built on endless patience , being vulnerable and getting taken advantage of , hence sylus’s ex who stole from him. BUT IM TOO SOFT i never feel like writing those scenes of someone hurting sylus so they just don’t happen and are passively mentioned

sylus has such BDE too, I also like the idea that his physicality forces him to be patient and gentle and really good at foreplay. (i really hope it doesn’t feel played up for effect, that aspect of the story is drawn from personal experience it felt honest to include)

i have wondered how this series would look like with the other LIs and how the tone and the dynamic would feel with their different personalities. there’s even a zayne version sitting in my drafts…
