“And that is why a building may both individually and at once be considered a house and a home; or neither, depending on what feeling and definition you argue.” Vic told their class brightly, half-revelling in the smatterings of irritation their vagueness had caused. Of course, others were looking at them with utter confusion and the rare full with badly-hidden delight. Those were the ones they watched, the joy in the unanswerable, the pleasure in the discourse. “We’ll call it there. Remember, there’s another chapter from Kant to finish by next week and there may be a quiz... or maybe not, see how I feel on the day.” They winked and dismissed there students.
Glancing out the window as the class emptied they noticed another tour group being given the spiel by their guide; rather that lot then them; Vic found the whole affair to be rather dull. They turned back to their room and noticed a young man at the door, well, he was a new one. Maybe a wayward tour-goer? They lent against their desk and crossed their legs before addressing the boy, “You know, when most people hover close by my doorway I tend to ask them a question, almost like a Ravenclaw dormitory guardian.” they grinned, “Unless you’ve something you’d rather ask me?”
summary: Some good ol' blue avatar n'avi porn, I am kidding. Jane gets the kiss she deserves.
notes: No I am not swearing the title is an actual song. Ugh never again.. being 3 am awake before a school day sucks.
Jane: Jane was giggling to herself, a left over bottle of scotch between her fingers. The New Years Eve party had been over for an hour ago, everyone left happy and probably drunk out of their minds, but the day ended up being special. Jane had been happy the whole night, everyone was there that she had expected to come. Her and Fia did the traditional kiss, but Jane couldn't help but feel the small empty place in her heart, and being hurt about the fact that her boyfriend once again was nowhere to be found. It had been going on for weeks now and she couldn't help but feel at least a bit sad about it. Everyone would love to kiss their boyfriend at least once when the new time of year begins. — She dropped herself on one of the many couches in her room, nothing hearing him come in.
Jax: He passed out, too much beer and pizza and flirting just for the hell of it -- made a man tired. Truth be told, it wasn't even about the sex anymore, it was about enjoying the company and pushing limits. It was about that smile girls would have when he gave them a compliment, and way their cheeks would turn red. It was simply about being someone to make people comfortable. It seemed like world needed more of that. But as he got up and started walking away, he noticed the door of the room nearby open and a blonde girl sitting on one of the couches in the room, missing that glow and red in her cheeks. Unwilling to let her enter a new year such way, whatever reason behind it. He knocked on the door, stunned by the beauty she held. He liked her, he really did so he honored her with one of his goofy smiles before sitting next to her. "Although such facial expression will keep you young forever, I do think you look for better smiling. -- What's up Janey? Sad to see I came fully dressed?"
Jane: Jane had pretty much had dragged her best outfit out of her closet. The famous red dress that Raphael had given her when they first met, she even changed her glasses for a pair of contact lances she found at some store, and her boyfriend wasn't there to see any of it. She was surprised that Jax was still in the house. All the girls were gone so there wasn't much of a reason to stick around. "Hey..." She had muttered when he came to sit next to her, hiding her face behind her lose blond hair that was hanging over her shoulders. She didn't want him to see her cry about something ridiculous like her boyfriend not showing up. "I don't think I can smile right now— But thanks for trying to make me."
Jax: Realizing that his words didn't make much difference right away, and judging by the lack of a nasty comeback he figured that something must've been wrong. Jax gave her a better look, using his hand to remove the hair out of her face. Gently he touched her chin, turning her wet face towards him. "What happened?" he asked calmly, not wanting to push her into saying more than she wanted. But he was a good listener, and he did want to know what or who was responsible for such mood. "Come on, you can tell me..."
Jane: Jane tried not to shiver it his touch, which she did all the time he did touch her. He had an impact on her from the start, something she didn't want, but couldn't control. She felt pathetic for crying, but she was always a bit of a softy from anyways, but she did had help from Fia who helped her toughen up. "it's silly really..." Jane started, laughing half halfheartedly, closing her eyes before opening them again, locking them with his. "You know that I have that boyfriend right? it's just...He's so busy all the time and I'm a silly woman who wants attention, maybe I'm being selfish and I knew what I was getting into... and— He wasn't here and I wanted him to be here, like really bad."
Jax: He almost let out a laugh, and soon enough he realized that the smile had curved up his lips. It was a bit silly -- maybe because he was the kind of guy who would jump to next best thing when he couldn't get the one he wanted. "There is nothing wrong with wanting these things Jane. But there's also no point in feeling shitty about this stuff either. So what he didn't show* You had fun, you made one hell of a party, you look gorgeous. He's the one missing on things so let him feel shitty for being unable to find two minutes to say hi to his girl, yeah?" he smiled, his eyes finding hers before offering a hand. "Come on, dance with me."
Jane: Jane blushed at his words, he did always know what to say. Even if he was an ass half of the time, he really did know how to make someone feel better about him or herself with just words. She hadn't expect them getting along this well. Their first meeting being about them bantering over feminists and tables, but now she actually liked him and was glad that he was here. "Okay, but keep your feet safe, I'm not the best out there." Jane giggled, trying to lighten up the mood a bit. She grabbed onto his hand, letting him pull her up and draped the other one around his neck.
Jax: "It's quite alright, we'll move slow until you get it." he smiled, and pulled her closer, placing one of his hands around her waist and using other to tangle his fingers with hers. He enjoyed her company. She was funny, smart, beautiful. Yet so beautifully human. Not the one to bitch about everything or hide her emotions to the point he felt almost ashamed to even ask anything at all. His eyes found hers as they were moving slowly, following rhythm of quiet music in the distance. "So leaving out the boyfriend part, did you have fun tonight hm gorgeous?" he spun her around and pulled closer once again, leaving no distance between their bodies as he waited for the answer. "Did you get your kiss?"
Jane: She nodded following his steps slowly, trying not to step on his feet or trip and make a fool out of herself. Not that it mattered, she probably looked like a mess now anyways. His hand fitted perfectly in hers, being slightly bigger and much warmer than hers. She wanted to remove the distance even more and lay her head on his chest, just so she could forget about everything for a moment, but his question made her stare back up at him. "I did, Fia was there and everyone else. I can't complain 'bout that." She laughed a bit when he spun her around, her dress fluttering around her, caressing her legs as it gently fell back into place. Her breath hitched when he pulled her back closer than before, looking down at his lips before she returned her stare to his eyes. "Depends what kind of kiss you're talking about?"
Jax: "Oh yeah, when she's not kicking my ass Fi can be very fun." he smiled as he danced around, his eyes never leaving her face that now regained that beautiful color in the cheeks, as it shone under the dim lights of the messy room. He stumbled upon an empty bottle on the floor and had fallen on the couch, pulling her along with him so that she now lied on top of him and suddenly he couldn't help but laugh. "Looks like you're better at this than I am after all." he calmed down and his bright eyes found hers, smile pushing up a single corner of his lips. "Kind of kiss that would make you forget everything, everyone for a moment?"
Jane: "That's her specialty."she grinned, finally getting the feeling of the ways the steps worked. Her cheeks were burning as he kept staring at her, they always had a conflict about his and his stupid bright blue eyes, but right now it was leaving a warm feeling into her chest and couldn't help but smile because of it. Jane let out a squeal when they both tripped and fell on top of the couch, her face inches from his. For a moment she froze, not really knowing what to do, but of course he had to make a little joke about it. "No...I didn't get it." Jane said softly, brushing her nose against his. "Sorry—I didn't' She said nervously, when she realized what she was doing.
Jax: "You didn't?" he raised his brows, before allowing his hand to gently pass over her cheek. He pulled her closer, as close as he could before pressing his lips against hers, slowly passing over them before pulling back to find her eyes once again. "You did now."
Jane: Jane eyebrows furrowed, not knowing why he kept asking, but that flew out of the window when his lips came crashing down on hers, soft and warm and way too short to even think about what just had happened. Her eyes went over his face, her lips tingling. She didn't think, didn't think what will happen afterwards. Regret was simply a taboo when she moved back again to press her own lips against his this time, biting her teeth softly into his bottom lip.
Jax: He allowed his hands to travel down her body, bringing her closer against his chest as their lips met once more. Grin took over his features as her teeth sunk into the gentle skin of his lips and he loved it. Quickly, he turned her over his lips passing over hears in somewhat of a teasing manner - tracing over the outline of her lips with his tongue before offering a passionate one, kind that burned his lips as tongue collided with hers in a rhythm he was allowing her to control.
Jane: She gasped against his mouth when he took more control of the situation and turned them around. Now she was under him, her hands moved to his shoulders, going down to brush her hands all over his back, until she moved back up again and wrapped her arms tightly around his neck. He tasted amazing and she couldn't get enough of it. Her tongue moved with his, curling around his, teeth clashing against each other.
Jax: His hand moved up her leg to the curves of her hips as he traced with his tongue the lines of her lips, allowing her to take as much as she pleases before pulling back, on-growing desire commanding him to ask for more and wish for more. He moved his kisses down her jawline to her neck, sinking his teeth gently into her neck before sucking in the warm skin that smelled of perfume and pushed him to pull in a deep breath before returning up to honor her with yet another kiss he'd been holding, while his fingers moved in hope to discover every inch of her body.
Jane: She hiked up one of her legs, hooking it around his waist, moaning as his kisses started to trail down her neck. Jane pulled on his hair when he bit into the spot on her neck that was the most sensitive. Her thoughts were only on him, how good his kisses felt and how alive she felt by just kissing him with the same kind of fever. With a bit of struggling she pushed off her high heels, making one fall next to her and the other one on the ground. One of her hands moved away from his hair to move down his chest, pressing it against his heart. She sucked, licked and continue to kiss his lips.
Jax: His hands were no longer under his control and as he tried his best to pull her as close as he could. His lips followed her command, as his head got dizzy from the sudden growth of temperature in the room and the drunkenness provided by her lips that sucked on him so undeniably good he no longer managed to control his desire to pull down the zipper on a red dress and pull it down. His lips moved down her neck, passing over her collar bone ever so gently before his tongue decided to play with the chest covered with the last layer of clothing that he was about to get rid off. He wanted her, almost too bad and he was done waiting.
Jane: Things were getting too heated. She was pretty much overdosing and Jax his lips were her drugs. Maybe it was the moment she heard her zipper of her dress slide down, or the way his lips were going dangerously low to her chest that she knew that she was taking this too far. How much she liked Jax and his kissing, she couldn't do this to Nick, not when she wanted to make them work, she still wanted them and felt damn fucked up about it that she even had such thoughts about another guy. "Stop...Wait...Jax" She mumbled, grabbing onto his face to make him stop, before she continued. "I can't do this to you and to myself and definitely not to Nick.— We need to stop."
Jax: It took him a moment to realize what she was saying. For her words to get through his thick head as he was simply to high on adrenaline and whatever hormones his vessel was producing. Without further convincing he pulled back, grabbing his jacket as he got up, breathing fast as he headed towards the door. He didn't want to be angry, appear angry. He handled rejection before. He simply didn't understand why she'd be playing him for so long, it didn't seem fair. Before closing the door behind, he turned back to see her. Her eyes finding hers. "Happy New Year Janey."
