All these things happening in Riverdale were needing the attention of Kevin but the one thing he needed was a best outlet for many people - alcohol. The town of Riverdale was changing like the amount of people getting cable nowadays. Kevin for a moment had more than he ever wanted with friends and even a boyfriend who actually gave him attention and wasn’t afraid to hold Kevin’s hand in public.

Kevin stole several bottles of Wine from his father, and put them in a satchel. Veronica Lodge was the one person he knew he could have a drink with. She had no idea that Kevin was coming over but he knew she would want to partake. Not only was her father back but there was a string of things happening in Riverdale that called for a drink.

He had his father drop him off in front of  Veronica’s place, not telling him about the alcohol as his father was so busy with every thing happening. Kevin texted the girl saying he was outside, and not even seeing the man who offered to take the boy to their place.

Kevin knocked on the door, and held up the bottles in front of Veronica when she opened the door. 

“I have Wine and a mouth that wants to talk about how shitty I’m doing. This gay needs his best friend.”

Kevin frequented the night club in Riverdale. Thanks to his social media influence and his extreme searching of a reliable fake ID he’d been considered a regular. People commented that he didn’t look his age and that helped even more. Many of his nights were filled with searching for the closeted men or the occasional traveler that was in their town going to the bars for some reason or another. The summer meant no school nights, meaning that he could stay out later and avoid getting scrutinized from his father.

He’d been massaging the knee of another closeted gay teen at his school, one who was still questioning his sexuality but managed to be in Kevin’s bed several times throughout the year. Now that Kevin was hot, he’d fully embrace his looks and the charm he didn’t know he had. That’s when he spotted someone who made him abandon his potential hook-up for the night - Veronica Lodge.

Kevin heard about her and heard rumors of her father’s deeds. He wasn’t surprised she was at a bar, and he’d already been walking up to her. “Oh. My. God. Veronica Lodge.” He’d been a little tipsy, the smell of vodka cranberry lingering on his breath. “Welcome to Riverdale. You’ve come to the right place.” Kevin raised his hand to get the attention of the bartender. “Four shots please. The queen of New York has arrived in Riverdale.”

Kevin had been keeping his relationship with Moose a secret, even from some of his best friends. He wasn’t one to keep many secrets from his friends, and him eating so much food at the moment was a clear sign that something was off. The table in front of him was filled with several cheeseburgers and two orders of large fries. 

Out of respect Kevin kept his mouth closed, but the Keller boy knew that he wasn’t going to be able to hide it from others. He was eating his second cheeseburger when he heard the familiar sound of heels that often meant the grand entrance of a person he’s always admired - Veronica Lodge. The look on his face couldn’t mask that something was wrong along with the abundance of food on his plate. “Hello Veronica. Feel free to join me. As you can tell, I’m on the verge of having a mid 2000s Brittney Moment.”
