Day 185
I woke up energized. I sat in an uplifting Zoom church service where our UU minister told us (but it felt like she was speaking directly to me) that “The world depends on our shining our light.” The sun was shining and a slight chill was in the air. That could only mean one thing - apple picking!!
I rounded up the troops and by early afternoon we were in the car on the way to Homestead Farms.
I don’t know if we needed to pick ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS worth of apples. But we did and now I have a job ahead of me. (In addition to my ever-increasing amount of school work...online teaching is definitely not easier.) I told the boys they will be peeling apples tomorrow after school. Sorry guys!
After tea and kneading dough for pizza, this seemed like an appropriate treat:
We enjoyed the pizza, then I spent the rest of the evening planning for tomorrow’s teaching, and made a presentation for Back to School Night for Tuesday where I hope all of my families will show up. All two of them.
