My favorite headcanon to slap on Schlemmer:

Sometimes he calls Silver and Gold “liebling” (little love) or “schatz” (treasure)

AAHHHHHH CUTE GERMAN NICKNAMES MY BELOVED

Oooooo there's also "kleine Mäuschen" (little little mouse) witch is used for little girls or small children as an affectionate nickname

But not "Mäuschen" (little mouse)

That's cat calling and that's no good

General German fashion + Embarrassing Dad vibes=

Whenever not in the lab, Schlemmer is a socks and sandals kind of guy

This is great X3

but it also reminds of that one bit in psychonauts 2 where Forsyth mentions finally getting Sasha to stop wearing socks and sandals

What is it with Dad coded Germans and that combo X3 /light hearted
