Going back and re-watching the Star Fox conversations on Lylat Cruise is fun.
It would be nice if we did get to see more playable Star Fox characters in Smash Bros, especially Krystal who did at least get to appear as an assist trophy.

What do you think about the new Star Fox?
To some degree, I think people are being way too harsh on it. I think the visuals look great, and adding more story is interesting.
But the moment the announcer lady said "stage layouts have been kept the same" I'll admit I felt really disappointed. A more detailed retelling of this story is a great idea. I won't object to that.
Because it is a significant upgrade. As hard as it may be to believe, Star Fox 64 for the 3DS was 15 years ago. Which, in itself, was 14 years after the original Star Fox 64.
I just want more planets. More routes. More gameplay. Let me walk around The Great Fox. Let me install different guns and bombs on my Arwing. Let me swap out members of my team.
Don't tell me "stage layouts have been kept the same." I even see the crummy mandatory tutorial level from the 3DS game in there:
Peppy tells you the controls as you play! And this stupid tutorial makes you listen to this stupid raccoon tell you everything TWICE before letting you start the actual game. So that means you hear all of this "push Y to use a bomb!" dialog THREE TIMES. Wrong thing to remake, Nintendo!
It just feels like... one step forward, two steps back, you know?
(And do not use this as an excuse to send a takedown request to A Fox in Space, thank you)

[Krystal]: Prime-Glam Concept#8 | (FreeTrial Compatible: Non-Hrothgar) Follow for more FFXIV Fashion! #Cosplay __________________________________________________ So I actually made this Prime-Glam concept quite some time ago but am only sharing it now. It's interesting I found myself among the crowd of people who really wanted FemHrothgar to come to the game being rather vocal about it. Yet I wasn't able to really participate since the character type isnt available on the FreeTrial. I think they're pretty cool, and it seemed appropriate to try and make one of these FurQueens resemble The Blue Queen of Furries Krystal, specifically from StarFox Adventures. S.F.A. was one of the last games "Rare" the game developer behind many classic titles made before being acquired by a larger company. So it's an interesting dynamic that the game was never truly as popular as it could have been and is mostly given life because Krystal here has survived through fan art. So, by that way she is singlehandedly keeping that particular entry to the franchise alive just by existing. In a way considering it was originally meant to be her game it's good that she's the most memorable part of it even though she gets removed from screentime. Anywho, just getting that thought train off of my mind. Thanks for listening, wishing you better days candid reader. Happy #Hrothtober
