Snow would be the first person to buy a one wish willow if they existed in Panem
HOW DID SNOW GO FROM CORYO TO SNOW
"You're all I'm going to think about in that arena,” she whispered. "Not that guy back in Twelve?" he said only half-jokingly. "No, he made sure he killed anything I felt for him," she said. "The only boy my heart has a sweet spot for now is you." Then she gave him a kiss. Not a peck. A real kiss on the lips, with hints of peaches and powder. The feel of her mouth, soft and warm against his own, sent sensations surging through his body. Rather than pulling back, he held her even tighter as the taste and touch of her made his head spin. So this was what people were talking about! This was what made them so crazy! When they finally broke apart, he drew a deep breath, as if surfacing from the depths. Lucy Gray's lashes fluttered open, and the look in her eyes matched his own. They simultaneously leaned in for another kiss when the Peacekeepers laid hands on her and led her away. Festus nudged him on the way out of the hall. "That was some good- bye." Coriolanus just shrugged. "What can I say? I'm irresistible." "I guess," Festus answered. "I tried to give Coral a reassuring pat on the shoulder and she about broke my wrist." The kiss left him giddy. Beyond a doubt he'd crossed a line, but he didn't regret it…. It had been amazing. He walked home alone, savoring the bittersweet parting, electrified by his daring. Maybe he'd broken a rule or two ……

No matter which path you take it will always end up like this, a girl and the ship that makes her heart ache because were they doomed by the narrative or did they doom themselves?
Lucy Gray will always have a special place in my heart because she beat the odds again and again and never gave up but eventually was forced to succumb to the harsh life the capitol trapped her and so many others into. She escaped hunger in twelve by singing her way out with the covey, managed to get out of the hunger games and run away from snow only to (probably or at least I believe so because I think it's important to the narrative and the point Suzanne is making) die alone, in the wilderness, a place she loved. It's so unfair how she went through so much and got nothing out of it. That's the point. It's unfair and hurts which is why most of the fandom hates to believe she died. She was vivacious and bright and young and happy. People like that simply shouldn't die. It's not the right way round. You should die at Snows age, of illness surrounded by family and friends. But people don't always get what they deserve. Snow didnt. He lived until eighty something and hurt and killed so many. But did he get his comeuppance? Not really. He deserved to rot. And Lucy deserved to live. But the world isn't fair. But it isn't all sadness because Lucy gray, she haunts the narrative and by extension Snow. She clearly is a constant niggle in the back of his mind (seen in SOTR). The world doesn't give snow his comeuppance. In fact he gets off lightly. But Lucy Gray ensures he is constantly thinking of her. What they could've been. What would've happened if he hadn't shot her? Whether she was still alive or escaped his clutches? She haunted him and haunted him bad. And fun fact to haunt someone you have to be ,well, dead. So in my opinion, no Lucy gray doesn't live despite how much she deserved to. The world betrays her just as it had so many times before. But instead of giving up after death she chases him and consumes his every living thought , frightening him out of his mind for the rest.of.his.life. I saw another post saying Lucy gray represents femicide and I can't agree more. So I think she represents the fact that although the law that's supposed to protect women and their rights they dont always. But there can be light at the end of the rainbow, although sometimes not much. But I think daily tormentation of Snow and his overthrowing by katniss (a covey girl) and the others is enough to setate her anger and allow her to just be in peace for the first time since her birth. Which she deserves. Along with all the people who relate to her story.
(btw I'm sorry if this is rambling and doesn't make sense I wrote at 11pm xx)
My Roman Empire is that our little structural narcissist, after betraying Sejanus, simply thought, "Well, my prank was fun, it's time to call Ma to come and sort things out and Mr. Plinth to put up his money and get me and Sejanus out of this mess so I don't feel guilty," only to find out that Sejanus is going to be hanged because he opened his stupid mouth and betrayed the only person who loved him and was his friend 💆🏻♀️💆🏻♀️😳🤫🤫💔
