I need a sewing machine. I do not have the mental nor physical energy and LEAST OF ALL THE TIME to create entire cosplays using hand sewing alone. no one has the time or energy for all that.
that being said: i have so many things I want to either recreate or try my own spin on. I need to mikufy Helen and Madeline from death becomes her, just for fun. i need to make paul's skeleton vest from the lost boys. i have so many thoughts but no time or money to do anything with them, so they just rattle around in my brain for hours on end. Guys I found the perfect yui cosplay sweater
it was at the mall
I've learned that one of the shops where I lives sells the right gear to allow me to do some mech pilot cosplay, maybe a mech pilot that enjoys working on her mech at that. But I also know I could cosplay a... "Handler" if I got the right gloves, a leather trench coat and proper boots... Oooh... I should do both...
i don't dabble in cosplay much but when i do, especially when i cosplay more niche characters, it's crazy how much my affection for them increases like. massively
like i already liked the character a lot but now that's my actual baby fr
There is a part of me that would want to cosplay Meryl's new Trigun Stargaze. But I imagine I would spent a day with people telling me I've got the wrong hair color for Bulma and maybe a handful of people who thought it was I a female Calyx.
apparently standing outside for two hours, taking pictures in heels and climbing a mountain can lead to sore muscles huh

We came here scouting for the next gathering location. I think only in hindsight do I realize that even tho I felt like a hermit for 20yrs, I was more involved than I felt at the time. I always felt like I was on the outskirts bc everyone's skills were so amazing to me! Whether it be their sewing, props, poses, getting in character etc. everyone in those early days inspired me so much! I admired their light, but it was also too bright for me. I was too shy to ask to join groups or if people would cosplay things with me. I was afraid of being rejected bc I thought everyone was on a totally different level than me, but I wish I had the courage to give more compliments, ask more how people made things, and in general tried to connect more. I think I would have found that it was just anxiety getting the best of me.
