The Australian psychedelic rock band Pond is worth a mention here. They recently released their fifth studio album titled "Hobo Rocket". The title track is a buzzing, epic trip on which we are accompanied by Cowboy John, who is rambling on about “flying through the universe at twice the speed of light” on a “horse with wings.” A quite incoherent rant, but it somehow sounds great to the heavy drums, swirling sitars and buzzing guitars.
