4. Least favorite headcanon you've seen re: the finale
That Caleb and Essek should just magically change their lifespans so they can spend forever together. Lots of people have already gone over how that either wouldn't work or wouldn't be fair, so I won't go into big details here - I just think it loses the magic a bit. I understand not everyone feels that way, I just personally prefer the ephemerality of their story, especially given how wrapped up in time it is to begin with. It's also a Liam Oberon specialty and there is a reason why I'm drawn to his stories after all.
21. Unpopular fandom opinion (either that you frequently saw in fandom and are like UGH, or opinion you hold that you found was unpopular within fandom) you wish to get off your chest:
Oh wow there a lot of the first one, so I'll try to think of an opinion I have that I haven't seen too many others have. I suppose ,, my take on Caduceus is probably not terribly popular, in that I see too many of the people who have tried to control me and my emotions in him and it comes out in how I view him as a character, which is rather unfavorably. I don't personally think I saw much growth in him either, especially given one of his last scenes was to force tronk to feel empathy for... burning his house/temple, with zero mention of the agony he put so many children through. I've seen so many people really love that scene, but to me it just reminded me of all the Christians I know who would be more angry if someone desecrated their sanctuary than if that same person desecrated a child.
TO BE CLEAR cuz there's always someone lol : I love Taliesin Jaffe as an actor and he seems like a very well adjusted friend and I recognize that everyone who plays with him thoroughly enjoys the choices he makes for his characters - I consider all of that outside of my opinion of the fictional character of Caduceus. Player hate is for losers.
37. Scene you can't/won't rewatch:
I have 2. I can't rewatch the scene where Molly got up into Caleb's face very early on and I cannot rewatch the dinner scene for related Cad feels like the above. Interestingly, there's also a c1 scene that I adore and watch constantly when I need to cry out some stress, but I skip through a part that is -very- similar to all the above as well. lmao.
