That Moment When Your Pattern Files Are Everywhere But Nowhere 😅

Okay: Remember that time you created THE PERFECT floral pattern and then... lost it in the void of your hard drive? Yeah, we've been there too. Actually, we were there SO MUCH that we had to figure something out before our desktop became a digital version of that drawer everyone has with random stuff in it (you know the one 👀).

After one too many 6 AM panic sessions searching for "final_final_ACTUALLY_final_v3.ai", we finally impelemented our way to pattern file organization. And because we're all in this creative chaos together, we thought we'd share what worked for us!

What we learned (the hard way):

Throwing everything on your desktop isn't actually a filing system (shocking, we know)

That thing where you promise yourself you'll organize files "later"? Later never comes

OneDrive + Excel can actually be your best friends (plot twist!)

A 30-minute weekly cleanup can save hours of frustrated file hunting

The best part? Our system isn't about being perfect - it's about keeping your creative flow flowing! I went garage saling with @happyoldwoman yesterday and this with my $4 bargain. It's a California Pottery L74 lazy Susan set. It has some chips and isn't really worth anything, but it'll be a prettyn funky organized for some of my art supplies and we can use it when we have company.
