2. how do they listen to their music? ipod, mp3, computer, cd, records, etc?
remus listens to much of his music through the wireless, often using his friends one , either sirius’ or arthurs, or he prefers his records and gramophone. though he only uses it so often. he likes to play it when working, or in deep thought but otherwise has it off.
4. do they wear their hair down when they sleep, or tied up / braided?
remus has never had long hair, though when it has gotten long, he usually pulls it back and holds it back with a hair tie before getting it cut. otherwise it’s just loose.
6. what do they normally dream about? nightmares or nonsense?
his dreams don’t make much sense when he has them, though he has mastered lucid dreaming. when he was a child he would get terrible nightmares about blood and pain. that seemed to be the jist, no matter what it was always blood and pain. during his teenage years , remus would get terrible sleep paralysis but eventually subsided when he garnered more confidence and friends. during his time in isolation however, he found himself having more and more sleep paralysis than he would have preferred. he doesn’t often dream or have nightmares or sleep paralysis, but it is common for him to suffer from all three after a full moon that he’s had very little control over or very little recovery time from.
8. what do they sleep in? pj’s, normal clothes, nothing?
t-shirt. boxers. he finds himself getting warm throughout the night so tends not to want to have too many layers on if possible.
10. what shampoo scent do they like the best and why?
vanilla and coconut. there’s something warm and homely about it.
12. do they prefer sleeping alone or with someone else?
with someone else. remus likes having his arms curled around someone and feeling safe and warm. he’s used to sleeping alone though so it can be a bit awkward when sharing a bed with someone. he also finds that because he’s rather tall, it can make sharing a bed awkward.
14. do they stay up too late? do they like staying up?
remus is a night owl by nature. but he doesn’t necessarily like staying up. he just finds he’s much more productive during the evening and night than he would care to admit. so he will work into the night without realising it then scold himself for not going to bed earlier.
16. do they prefer taxis / buses / subways, etc? or none of the above?

dogs. he doesn’t mind cats and actually enjoys them, he just feels obligated that he has to say dogs because of sirius.
20. what do they hate being teased about? are they teased often?
he used to hate being teased about his appearance, about how much older he looked compared to the others. that became less of a concern for him as he did get older, and it became more about full moons he hated being teased for because it reminded him too much of the way he would be able to joke with james, sirius and peter.
22. do they have a fear they want to conquer, but haven’t yet?
remus desperately wants not to fear the full moon, but it’s a little more complicated than just facing an orb in the sky. he doesn’t fear the full moon per se , but rather fears the effect the full moon has on him. he wants to get over it but he knows he never won’t
24. do they have a short temper? what’s most likely to set it off?
remus has so much patience that no, it takes him time to get riled. and usually if he outbursts then it’s been building towards it. one thing that gets him riled is unfair laws and conduct by officials that are meant to set standards. when he gets angry, its usually for good reason. he doesn’t get irritated by small things. though during the three days before a full moon, little things can agitate him. he doesn’t fly off the handle but it makes things more difficult to deal with and he has to isolate himself to stop him getting too annoyed.
26. what are they most passionate about? what could they debate about for hours?
he loves discussing dark art lore and mythology. and how it’s interpreted. he also loves talking about magical theory and spellwork, he’s also thoroughly passionate about equal rights
28. do they have kids? do they want kids? if so, how many?
remus grew up expecting that he would never have kids. and in fact never wanted kids. it wasn’t for the fact that he hated them, it was just that he was terrified that he would pass his lycanthropy onwards to them so it was safer not to have that kind of life ( when in truth its all he wanted ) when teddy was born and proved to be okay, remus was relieved but didn’t want to put through the same fear again. so he and dora never had any other kids ( though they probably adopted orphans after the war )
30. is there something about their personality they want to change?
he hates that sometimes he can be so passive. that sometimes he will let things slide for the sake that he just wants to be liked. he wishes he was a little more thick skinned and able to stand up to others better, especially friends when they’re doing something wrong.
32. do they critique others easily? do they judge from afar?
remus knows all too well what its like to be judged. so he would never do it to another.
34. are they the jealous type? what are they most likely to be jealous of?
remus doesn’t like to show jealousy but when it does rear its ugly head its usually because he feels neglected and unwanted. and that people would prefer others over him. he doesn’t show it, he just kind of buries it deep.
36. would they rather be alone or in a relationship?
remus wants nothing more than to be loved and love in return. he wants nothing more than to have a connection so profound with someone that he feels like he can actually bond with them. but at the same time his condition makes him difficult to love and a pariah in society. nobody wants him so he finds it difficult to believe anyone would want to be in a relationship with him for that reason. so he chooses to be alone instead.
38. do they have parents / parental figures? do they have a good relationship with them?
remus has a father who is still alive. his mother hope died shortly after the wizarding war ended and remus decided that it was best not to disturb his ageing father any further. so he just kind of didn’t really bother lyall. it’s an okay relationship. not the best, they keep in contact with letters and meet every couple of months, but remus generally doesn’t want to be a burden and lets his father get on with his life.
40. do they have a big family or a small family? no family?
just his father really. remus is aware that he may have cousins and aunts and uncles but the understanding is that after he was bitten his parents cut off contact with them to be on the safe side.
42. are they happy in their current living situation? why or why not?
they are content enough. it could be worse.
44. did they go to college, or are they attending? did / do they like it?
there is no higher education after hogwarts, however, if you want you can be employed as a magical apprentice and work on projects and learn through that. sort of a tutor/student set up whilst earning some money on the side. remus would usually do a few for a couple of months and be really good and studious at them, but once they figured out he was a werewolf, he was often shunted. a few let him stay on until the rest of the apprenticeship had been completed but usually because they couldn’t get anyone else to fill in the position.
46. if they could control one thing in the world, what would it be?
themselves during a full moon without the use of wolfsbane.
48. do they have social media? do they like it or hate it? obsess over it?
social... media??? in the wizarding world???
50. where do they see themselves in 2 / 5 / 10 years?
he doesn’t know where he sees himself next week. but he does know he wants to be happy if those years come to pass.
