On Adrian's relationship with his mom:
I may be pulling this out of thin air rn, but I assume that they do have a good relationship and his mother is used to his occasional outbursts. That woman was completely unfazed by the way he was speaking to her and carried on as if she couldn't even hear him (in a very adrian-esque manner, I might add. They are so related). She has lived with him for 30+ years and raised a child with aspd (and likely autism) alone. She is definitely used to and unbothered by his bs, and her reaction and knowledge about his friends leads me to believe that they do get along 90% of the time (and the fact that they play d&d together? Come ON that's so cute).
Obviously this doesn't make the way he spoke to her in episode 6 okay or justified, but from other context clues it's clear that they don't have any major issues between the two of them and they are probably relatively close.
To summarize: chase family reality show please? Their dynamic is so fun. AND WHERE IS GUT I WANT TO MEET GUT
