Matt was the first person to say “I love you” to Neil after years and I stand by that.
Here’s how I think it went:
• It was the last game of the season, the upperclassmen were going to graduate soon.
• Everyone congratulated eachother, maybe even Andrew
• But then it was Matt and Neil, it wasn’t just a quick “Congratulations” no. It was Matt in his feels.
• “Neil, I fucking love you man and I’m gonna-“
• Neil was stunned, and his face cut Matt’s whole sentence off tbh
• Ofcourse Neil didn’t know what to do or say at first, but maybe he didn’t have to say something, Matt would understand.
• So Neil instead gives Matt some big ass hug and Matt WANTS TO CRY.
