Introduce yourself
🥁 Heyo, I'm cso! I like making things whether it's baking, various crafts, or other doohickeys :D I've been listening to a lot of Yonezu Kenshi/HACHI and EVE these days, and my favorite songs at the moment are Flamingo (Yonezu) and Tokyo Ghetto (EVE). Usually, I do a pen/pencil sketch that I finish up digitally, but I've been leaning more towards completely digital recently. I'm a full-time student so I only get to do art every so often, but I'm on tumblr @ chrysanthemumtea! Come by and say hi sometime! ^u^ 🎺 My name's Daniel, a small artist from Spain. Do you listen to music (or tv shows/films/anything else) when drawing?
🥁 I put on different things in the background. Sometimes it's shows like b99, Criminal Minds, or Elementary; other times it's a cooking series or music on YouTube. It depends on what I'm feeling that day! 🎺 I usually listen to music while I'm drawing (all kinds of music). 🎸 I like to listen to music, watch things on Youtube, just generally have some noise in the background! 🎻 How can you not? I need something in the background when I draw, I can't last I've 20 minutes with silence.
What’s your favorite music artist/band? If you could ask your favorite band/music artist one question, what would it be?
🥁 I really like Yonezu Kenshi, and I'd ask about how he comes up with lyrics! Like, he's been making jam after jam since the beginning of his vocaloid days. It's awe-inspiring! 🎺 It's really hard to choose one, but I could choose Muse for example. I would ask them how they started as a band and which are the best experiences they had with their music. 🎸 I can't decide a favourite band between Bon Jovi and Area 11, and if I could ask Area 11 a question, it would probably be "Does Parv's mum forgive my friend for that time he accidentally elbowed her in the face during one of their shows?" 🎻 BTS, purely because I don't usually seek music by artist. If I had to ask anything, I'd ask them if they eat/sleep properly.
Do you play an instrument? If not would you like to play one? Which one?
🥁 I can play a mean kazoo lol but I would really like to learn guitar and play bass. The sound of a bass guitar is *chef's kiss*. 🎺 Yes! I play the acoustic and electric guitar. 🎸 I've never been able to afford instruments, but when I was at school I learnt to play guitar and keyboard. I used to be able to play a mean Jingle Bells on the keyboard- 🎻 I sing and know how to play on the piano a little (I suck at it though, and haven't played in a while).
Which song(s) are you going to draw?
🥁 I'm attempting Fireworks by DAOKO and Yonezu Kenshi! It's winter here so I thought I'd draw something about those warm summer memories to melt the snow a little. 🎺 Start a Riot from Duckwrth and Shaboozey 🎸 We Weren't Born To Follow by Bon Jovi 🎻 Kizuato - Centimilimental
What do you expect from this zine?
🥁 I have no idea what to expect but I'm hella excited to see everyone else's work! I saw lots of great songs on the list so I'm the embodiment of the vibrating eyes discord emoji right now lol 🎺 I expect to had a good time doing the drawing and also see the ideas of the other artists, I'm sure their drawings will look great! 🎸 The experience of being in a zine, and from being forced out of my comfort zone! 🎻 For it to be fun and colorful!
