Cupcest (sfw but they kiss, I haven't written in a while and I'm back in my cupcest rut so cupcest content, this is based off my headcanon that Cuphead likes to take photos of Mugman in feminine clothes)

Mugman stood at the top of the stairs, he wipes his gloves hands on his dress as he hears his brother Cuphead setting up in the living room. Taking a deep breath, mugman walks down stairs and blushes when he makes eye contact with his brother. "Oh my gosh! You look absolutely amazing Muggsy! I knew that dress would look good on you!" Mugman's porcelain blushes red and he couldn't help but pout slightly.

The dress mugman was wearing was simple but fashionable, it was a cute little pale blue dress with blueberries decorating it, ruffles trimmed the edge of the dress and the sleeves, and blues heels and gloves are also worn to match. It was something a housewife would probably wear, mugman thinks.

"I don't- I'm not-" Mugman tried to get the words out, Cuphead puts a finger on mugman's lips. "Yes you are! My little Muggsy is adorable! Your such a cute little wife!" Cuphead hugs Mugman and pecks his cheek with a little blush of his own. Mugman snuggles into Cuphead, accepting the affection.

Mugman was the one who confessed to Cuphead, it was tearful and messy. Mugman felt ashamed of his feelings but Cuphead just rolled his eyes and kissed his tears away, telling him "I already knew that, dummy.". Cuphead never seems to get the gravity of situations, either that or he doesn't care.

Mugman and Cupheads relationship was fairly new, but the dressing up and taking pictures isn't. Cuphead has always been obsessed with taking pictures of Mugman in dresses, elder kettle has taken pictures of the cups when they were younger in little dresses too! But the little dishwares are older now, and Cuphead still likes to take pictures, though only of Mugman. It's not like mugman doesn't like feminine clothes either, but he can't help but be embarrassed with how much attention is being paid to him.

Cuphead pulls away. "Ok super star! Let get you ready ok?" Mugman nods and Cuphead begins to apply makeup to mugman's face.

"Ya look perfect Mugman!" Cuphead cheers and gives a thumbs up. Mugman was posed on the couch with the phone in his hand, acting as if he was having a cheery conversation on the phone. Next, mugman was near the window sniffing flowers. Lastly, mugman was sitting next to a tea table, reading a romance novel with tears in his eyes. All the while Cuphead showered Mugman in compliments. Cuphead looks at the many photos he took and sighs. "God...I love you so much Muggsy."

Mugman smiles as he got up from the chair. "Your just saying that." Cuphead shakes his head and says. "No, really! Actually I think I've always loved you... So sweet, and nice. I think we were made for each other." Melancholy silence fills the air. They love each other so much but they know they could never be public about their feelings.

Mugman grabs Cupheads hand and hold it to his chest. "I think...maybe... We're soulmates, that just so happens to be put in a difficult situation." Cuphead nods. "Let's make a promise! A promise that in our next life, we won't have to go through this again! We'll live in a house just like this, away from everyone it's just you and me!" Cuphead smiles and nods again and says. "Yeah! And you'll be my cute little wife! We'll have cute kids and a big happy family!"

Mugman blushes once again. "K-kids!? How many are we talking here?" Cuphead hums, thinking. "At least 10!" Mugman is hoping in their next life, he'll think about lowering that number. But knowing his Cuphead, he won't.

"let's kiss! Right now! To seal our promise!" Cuphead shouts. Mugman raises an eyebrow. "Shouldn't we say vows first?" Cuphead shakes his head! "We can do that in the next life! Plus you already said our vows!" Mugman smirks and shakes his head teasing. "Come here." Mugman and Cuphead both lean in and share a kiss. It was soft and sweet, a long tender moment. A kiss of a promise of better things.

They both pull away and stare in each other eyes. They smile and giggle before Cuphead gasps. "Mugman! Your lipstick!" Mugman laughs more as Cuphead frantically grabs lipstick to fix it. Mugman loves his brother, more than he probably should. And he hopes that this never ends, and that in there next life it wouldn't be so hard.
