Mama Mystique ft. Q Ball & Curt Cazal | Tremendous | 1996

Female emcee from New York, discovered in the mid-90s by MC, DJ and producer Curt Cazal - member of the old school rap group JVC Force, and one half of the duo Q Ball & Curt Cazal (later known as QNC) - when he was working as a producer at the Hit Squad Studio where he produced tracks for Keith Murray and K-Solo, before moving on to D&D Records in 1996. Mama Mystique’s brief career would start under their tutelage, with whom she dropped her first single “Tremendous” in 1996. The following year DJ Premier included his remixed version of it in his “Crooklyn Cuts Tape C”.
