She had long thought her days of building weapons were over now that the Third Era was here. This was an Era of self-reflection and self-improvement. Homeworld, from what she heard from the other Andesines, had completely turned upside down and it was like a whole different world now. The Diamonds were peaceful and repentant and trying to ‘fix’ their tyrannical ways.
Andesine had hoped to find some fulfillment in serving Steven like she wanted for her original Diamond, Pink. Only to be told she could be so much more beyond her original purpose. She liked her purpose, and even though helping the Earthlings with their primitive technology was fine and all, it didn’t give her the same rush.
So here she was, taking her government mandated ‘break’ and she is approached by this Gem by reputation alone. Apparently someone referred this Gem to her for her superb weapon building skills.
