The Ouroboros is one of the oldest esoteric symbols in the world, represented by a serpent or dragon that dies online. It is found throughout the world represented slightly differently in different cultures, but still with the same symbolism: the eternal cycle of nature, life and death, symbol of the fact that everything is an eternal beginning. It is therefore a symbol of hope and renewal. He is the beginning and the end of all things, but also the image that the end is only an illusion. On the other hand, it has also been considered a symbol of self-destruction and annihilation. He is therefore the symbol of paradoxes which, like him, "eat their tail". It is figuratively encountered in many cultures on all continents. The oldest known representation is in Egypt, under the XVIIIth dynasty, that is to say 16 centuries before our era. Entourant l’ensemble du monde existant, il représente le cycle du temps et de l’éternité. Parfois représenté entourant le soleil levant à l'horizon, il représente la renaissance du dieu Râ chaque matin à la fin du Nun, ce qui en fait également un symbole de rajeunissement et de résurrection.
