Hello! A question about “We”, if you don’t mind — whose translation did you read? Or was it the original? Just curious! Thank you.

I read the Penguin Classics translation! Holy shit I LOVED that book — I STRONGLY recommend you read it. It’s short (like 220 pages or something) and I literally read it in one sitting — that’s how engrossed I was. George Orwell basically plagiarized this book when he wrote 1984, and imo, Zamyatin did it better.
