So to reiterate: Honeysuckle and white rose, Anders. He is more than worthy and he more than deserves love, but he never dared dream of more than fleeting moments, and so pours everything he is into helping others, asking for so little in return. It can be Anders or Handers or your preference (I love both Hawkes, but Marian is my Hawke) or Pounce would be lovely. I know this is a prompt, but I could send some kofi coffee?

Can I request an Anders and Oak Leaves theme? Bravery might be a rare depiction of him, but I personally think he was brave for many reasons.

Marian answered the buzzing phone without glancing away from the screen. She made a distracted sound “Hm?”

“Close the browser, Hawke,” came a firm voice on the other end.

“I can’t look away. I found this insane documentary on how the elven gods were real people, just super powerful mages who went totally mental. And it gets weirder. Like the Dead Wolf trapped their minds in the dream world and their bodies in the depths of the earth, and it turns out those are actually the arch demons that cause Blights, and now apparently the world is about to end because one of them is awake and so pissed,” she rambled into the phone, pausing the video before closing the window entirely.

“You know that’s all horseshit, right?” Varric’s voice asked.

“Well once I said it all out loud, I did,” she answered slowly. “But honestly, something about this video made it all seem completely plausible.”

Varric sighed heavily. “I’m in the wrong business. Apparently the future of the storytelling is making up wacky conspiracy theories on the internet.”

“Wake up, Free Marches,” Hawke replied with a laugh. “Hey, is it night time?”

“Andraste’s flaming ass, Hawke,” he admonished. “How long have you been watching these videos?” She glanced at her messages from her brother, then at the clock at the corner of her screen. “…huh. Is seven hours a long time for this kind of thing?”

“Seven, Hawke? Yes, that’s a long time.”

“Oh. Well. It’s been about nine and a half. I’m starving. And I have to pee,” she answered.

“Well… I guess I’ll meet you at the Hanged Man in 20 minutes, then. Unless you run into an army of elf supremacists bent destroying the world,” he said with a rumbly laugh.

“I knew you’d seen it!” She cried before hanging up and bounding for the bathroom.
