a few posters made for the da&d new blood.
This is my ‘tell don’t sell’ DA&D outcome. I creates a set of recipe cards which had simple all in one illustrations that represents myself. The four illustrations consist of me time which features a nail polish, cooking which contains cutlery, rolling the ink, which has an printing ink roller and coffee the most essentials of any creative minds. These are just a simple representation of what I think makes up parts of my personality. I have experimented with a variety of papers including a mottled style tracing paper, where you can see the ‘survival recipe’ side. I like this as it gives an interesting look to these perforated cards. My personal favourite is a mistake I made during the double sides printing stage where I printed both illustrated sides on one. I have to say this is my favourite as it’s interesting how the lines coincide but will most likely not be the final outcome as it may seem to cluttered but this could also represent me as an illustrator as I don’t know about any of you creative people but I can help live in a chaos of paper, ink and technology. To bring some small elements of colour and pattern I am going to work into these illustrates cards with subtle and bright neon fine liner pens.
