I just had a caffeine fueled idea: Bioshock submas.
The plot follows something similar to bioshock 2.
Ingo and Emmet were conductors for the Orange sea Express before Rapture fell into decay, the twins were escaping the underwater city with their spouses when, through a series of unfortunate events Ingo and Y/n got left behind.
They were eventually captured by Cyrus’s forces {He and Giovanni are this au’s Ryan and Fontaine) The husband and wife were forcibly separated; Ingo was sent to prison then the protector program to be turned into a Big-daddy while Y/n’s fate remained unknown.
Ingo gets turned into an Alpha series “Subject Beta” where he was pair-bonded to Cyrus’s illegitimate daughter Dawn. After the Rapture war; where Giovanni and Cyrus destroyed themselves and half the city, a young man by the name Volo rises from the ashes and take over rapture.
He starts a cult called the Hand of Arceus. One day he sees Dawn searching for “Angels”; He noted the girl had started to develop psychic abilities due to the ADAM in her system; Volo soon realized he could use her; he was going to turn her into a true child of Arceus, So he had Ingo killed and kidnapped Dawn.
Ten years later…
There’s a disturbance in Rapture as two familiar faces return… Emmet has returned to the forsaken city after a decade, he’s there in search of his lost family members and most importantly the whereabouts of his daughter Sally who was kidnapped by a big-sister while the family was on vacation by the sea.
meanwhile.
In the Thundurus luxury resorts a rusty Vita-Chamber hums to life as the hulking body of a Big-daddy stumbles out of it’s confines and falls to the floor unconscious; only to be woken up later by the soft somber voice of a woman who calls herself Y/n and whose in desperate need of help…
[While their wives are having a girl’s weekend with Elesa, Emmet and Ingo are looking after the kids, barely two hours in, Emmet suddenly rushes into his kid’s room where they’re playing video games with with their cousin.]
Emmet: Who wants to make five bucks?
Emmet’s twins & Ingo’s son: How?
Emmet: I need someone to take the fall.
[they hear Ingo walk into the living room Emmet winces hearing his brother gasp.]
Ingo: *shocked* Oh my god...
Emmet’s daughter: what did you do?
Emmet: I can’t tell you. Yes or no, No questions asked.
Ingo: *anger/disgust* Oh. My. God!
[The twins look at their cousin.]
Ingo’s son: Hey it’s your dad’s problem.
Emmet’s Son: *to Emmet* make it 10.
[Emmet winces peeks into to hall then looks back at the kids.]
Emmet: *deep breath* Done.
{They hear something falling over and the smoke alarm going off}
Ingo: *horrified* OH MA GAaAWD!!!
[Emmet trying not to cry hugs then grabs his son by the back of the shirt]
Emmet: you’re a good son, *drags him out the room* I got him Ingo! I got him, don’t worry!
[Post-Hisui: Emmet is introducing Ingo to his twins Sally and Gage, the kids are playing when Sally steals a toy rocket from her brother, and smacks his hands when he tries to take it back causing him to cry.]
Emmet: Give that back to Gage and tell him sorry.
Sally: I can’t talk.
{Ingo snorts, Emmet glares at him.]
Ingo: Sorry, It’s just...That’s such an Emmet thing to say.
[Emmet and his S/o are giving Gidget a lesson on fire safety.]
Emmet: Now, what do you do if you see smoke?
Gidget: Ask what you’re cooking?
[Emmet’s S/o cracks up, while Emmet pouts.]
Emmet: *to himself* Geez, you set the kitchen on fire making toast once, And you’re marked for life!
[Emmet is at the park with his kids, when Elesa walks by notices him.]
Elesa: Oh, hey Emmet! What are you doing here?
Emmet: I just spending some time off with my kids, While Y/n is at work.
[The twins run up to their dad.]
Sally: Daddy, we gonna go get drink. {points at drink fountain/bubbler.]
Emmet: Alright go for it.
Elesa: Isn’t that fountain little tall for them?
Emmet: It’s fine, just watch.
[They watch the twins stare at the fountain for a few seconds, before Gage gets on all fours and let his sister climb onto his back so she can reach the fountain, when Sally is done she does the same so Gage can also get a drink, they run back to Emmet who high-fives them.]
Emmet: That was some good teamwork you two!
[Emmet walks into the kitchen and finds his nephew and daughter (Her twin brother Gage is paired with another kid.) sitting at the table with Y/n’s Houndoom and E-S/o’s Boltund the kids look frustrated.]
Emmet: what’s the matter?
Mason: We’re doing a experiment for school, we’re trying to see if we can breed a Houndour that knows an electric move or a Yamper that knows a fire move.
Emmet: Oh? And how’s it going?
Sally: Terrible daddy, Cerberus and Zapper don’t seem interested in each other at all!
{Emmet looks at both dog Pokémon and notes Cerberus large horns, he then goes over to Zapper has it ‘Sit nice/beg” and cocks a brow as he looks down.]
Emmet, trying not to laugh: Well, *Ahem* It might help if one of them was a girl!
{Mason and Sally gawk at him in disbelief, before collapsing in their chairs in despair as they realized for the last two weeks they’ve been trying to breed two male Pokémon.]
Sally: Oooohh....
Mason: Seriously?
Emmet: Sorry kids.
(Cut to Science day Emmet had helped them make a last minute Volcano experiment instead.)
[A little old lady notices S/o and Emmet walking in the park together pushing their twins Sally and Gage in a stroller.]
Nice lady: Your little ones are so cute!
Emmet: *proud* Thank you.
Nice lady: How old are they?
S/o: They just turned one.
Nice lady: Both of them? Are they twins?
Emmet: Yep, they’re twins, just like their daddy and uncle!
Nice lady: Are you sure they are twins? They look so different from each other!
(Emmet and S/o just stare at the old lady oddly.)
S/o: Uh...Yes, We’re pretty sure they’re twins. Since, Y’know. I gave birth to them!
