"Jax and Pomni have nothing in common" is one of the worst takes I'll ever see from this fandom about why this ship doesn't work.

There was literally a whole episode about them clicking together so well Jax forgot his asshole persona.

I would love so much for Caine to give an AM "Hate" speech equivalent but turning it around on everyone else and saying he refuses to act on hatred because all he sees is hatred from the human Circus members and he can't stand the idea of being consumed by such an "awful, ugly emotion."

sorry mate, I understand if you want to write a genuinely bad person for a character in your story, but he just feels like a "bad" person by circumstance and poor coping mechanisms, not by moral standards. and god that's so fucking different and needs to be different. he's clearly not immune to having his conscience reached and connected with. that tells me he's not a lost cause; he's just broken and trying to survive, and if there's no hope for people like that or those types of people aren't allowed to have any amount of good or happiness in their life, then we're all, quite frankly, entirely fucking fucked.

I love the concept of Jax framing his emotions/crush/love for Pomni through a, idk what to call it, almost like a self-deprecating lens but there's a better word for it, like the things that are "normal/expected" that comes with the experiences of "love" and aren't actually all thet insane as being outrageous or absurd to him because it's just focusing on the well-being of another person for your own interests and sake and for good reasons. It's just so him and his stunted processing of love.

Examples include watching someone while they sleep to make sure they're still breathing or noticing the scent of someone changing for XYZ reason. He'd find that shit psychotic and think about admitting himself to the ward, but when he finally shares it aloud with her, she'd so easily say "oh yeah I've done that with you too" as if it's fucking normal and he'd be like "oh great, now we're both psychotic! this won't work we need to brea—” and she'd cut him off with "your new shampoo smells nice, I think it suits you" and he'd do that thing where his eyes go big and he shuts up and all you can see is his tail going a mile a minute bc omg she noticed and she likes it—

I'M SO HAPPY WITH WHAT THE TRAILER SHOWED. THERE'S SO MUCH /NEW/ INFORMATION AND DETAILS, STUFF WE LITERALLY COULD NOT FORESEE. AND THAT IS IDEAL TO ME, IT'S SO EXCITING. I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT DIRECTION THIS IS ALL GONNA GO. I AM OFF THE EDGE OF MY SEAT AND ON MY KNEES IN FRONT OF THE SCREEN.

I am very pleased.

I have much to say!

None of it is negative!

But I'm waiting a bit before sharing. I want fans to have plenty of time to watch and for the initial, like, buzz to settle down.
