I haven’t sewn anything doll-related for over a month now, because I’ve been making progress on a hand-sewn project for a (human) baby, in between working my day job from home. Have some Soo to make up for it! (Mia Soo Smile on a 1/8 scale Daisy BJD body)
The Stars Are Falling Rin-SP head and Be With You 35cm body which I had ordered last year have both shipped! The BWY body gave me a scare when it was refused by the forwarding warehouse, but, thankfully, I managed to work it out (I’ve a new gratitude for being forced to sit through 12 years of tedious Chinese lessons).
My light tan Akagidoll body is slated to ship after May, and the Guardlove body will only start production in June. No news yet on the 2D Doll body, but I think I’ll send a gentle feeler in mid-May if I don’t hear from the retailer before then.
Also, Volks is re-releasing Williams and Cecile for the online Dolpa 43! Aaaa... such charismatic gentlemen they are. But every time I am tempted by a big doll, I remember carrying my friend’s SD13 Lucas Sweet Dream over a decade ago, and being appalled at how heavy he was. XD;; (Sweet and dreamy without a doubt, but so, so heavy.) And then I easily escape temptation.
