The L'Edima Dance work tour is a series of classes designed to inspire a direction in career for dancers. Over the years a lot of people who dance and want to dance have had questions, on how to grow within the profession and about access to opportunities in it, especially if they live in a small or growing city. The tour is our way of answering those questions for people who currently dance and for those who are contemplating dancing full time without having to relocate to the obvious large cities. However, it is important to acknowledge the contributions of Lagos and other highly commercial cities to various forms of performing art, but i personally believe that a wide spread of opportunities at different levels for dancers in particular in every community will provide the following: . Creative organizations that will provide employment for a wide range of individuals . Self employment for the individuals self sufficient to work for themselves . Multiple vehicles for packaging, promoting and presenting cultural work and amiable practices . An avenue to engage young people and a tool to make them more productive . Properly cultivated talent and a medium to create propaganda and pass messages in an interesting and exciting manner. There is a need for dance practitioners and their families to understand the wealth of opportunities available to them within a healthy dance career. Both on and off stage, on and off camera, on and off arenas etc. The concept of a dance industry has not been scratched, and that is because certain roles are vacant and undervalued. I know you are out there, all of you who would put your street, your town, your city, your school, your community and/or your name on the map with your studio, project, movie, app, product, school, design and book because you danced or you love dance. #Danceworktour #dance #growth #honesthustle #development #performance
