The hour has arrived! Scott is at home with a babysitter and Cale is just inspecting the plumbing.
Dora, meanwhile, is taking her sweet time walking into the building. She’s barely into her second trimester, but I’d still say she has an excuse :)

Followed by the Backwith’s. They are the only sims to have actually attended each Ball! Torrey! I know I did not pick that outfit out for you! Oh well, you’re here, might as well enjoy the turkey on the buffet table!

So, I forgot to hire a bartender, and set the music on the speakers, but that’s ok, because everyone was having fun listening to Cale’s awful piano playing! LOL!

OMG! Dereck DeLuca crashes this party EVERY year!! It looks like he managed to swipe some buffet food this year!
Dora decided nothing sounded better than solving math equations in the meeting room and ran into Heather McCall who had just arrived!
It wasn’t long before everyone decided to try their hand at playing in the band! Well at least everyone who showed up had fun, I’d call it a success!
I perused around the rest of the first floor while the party wrapped up.
Dora made a last minute donation using the Ani’s donation box by @anitmb! The Ball is actually supposed to be a yearly charity event where the sims get together and donate at the boxes I have stashed in many of the public buildings in my game.
The action is winding down. OMG! Of course Thelma Mendez finally shows up just as everyone is leaving. Perhaps she thinks it’ll be easier to swipe some valuable now!
Dora stayed to clean up and to keep an eye on Thelma. I know you were really needing that Hot Chocolate, but I don’t know if I’d trust Thelma alone even just down the hall!
The end of the evening and the end of winter. Tomorrow is tax day, I hope everyone can pay! LOL! Apparently, someone took the time to build snowmen while they were here too!
Well I finally A) had some time to play and B) felt well enough to play so here we go! After dropping in on the Dexter's to collect yearly taxes it's back to the McCall household. As it turns out, my game was actually not corrupt I had forgotten to go back into the McCall household before exiting, however, my town was still crazy overpopulated.
Gianna is sleeping while Heather plays computer games and cleans house. Daniel is out for lunch at the L'Etoile Java Hut where he ran into Sondra Decker and Rebeccah.
The boys on the other hand, have finished school for the day and went to the arcade. Trevor is busy chatting up Kelli Pullen while Javon is playing games.
Back home it's time for homework. I like to try to see what the sims are watching on tv! The boys should be aging up before the end of this rotation!
Heading back to the McCall family and Javon is out riding his bike at 3am!! Not to mention it's a full moon!
Aww! It looks like Britta and Lara are hanging out again and Bobbi has been hanging out with her mother too!
It's the boy's birthday and it looks like there's going to be a freak spring time snow storm! Rebeccah is out for a morning run around the neighborhood.
I still need to change clothes and I want to change Trevor's hair, but look how handsome they are! Also, OMG! Trevor looks so much like Daniel!
So my game decided to crash right after I changed the twins hairstyles! I'm hoping that lovely little issue will be resolved by moving my population to the new save and culling out my population..fingers crossed! There are only a couple of days left in spring so the move is close! In the meantime, I spent a good portion of the day dropping in around time to make sure all of the kids and teens ages are properly synced before the move. The morning snowstorm seems to have melted away by the afternoon when I caught up with Trevor in the park, building sandcastles!
Javon is back home doing some much needed catching up on homework!

Have I ever mentioned how much I love the lighting mod I use! Just look at how the consignment store lights up in the early evening sunset!
And the Whitehaven Mansion Inn looks lovely as well. It will soon be under new ownership. Once everyone is moved over this will be the newest investment for Freddy. I find it only appropriate considering he and Rebeccah spent ahem..a lot of time there while she was still married to Noel.
Back home at the McCall residence everyone is settling in for the night. Gianna is still being attended by the babysitter. Javon is still working on homework. Heather and Daniel are both reading skill building books and Trevor is watching tv.
Ugh..I need to go back and fix Javon's hair again. Anyhoo..these two! Typical siblings either thick as thieves or fighting..there is no in between.
Uh oh! No sooner did the boys age up and Claire Li is flirting with them! Hey Claire! What happened to Karim!?
It's close to 11pm. Everyone is in bed and the babysitter is left taking care of little Gianna before heading home!
Well we're back with the McCall's and I'm going to be spending a lot of the day making sure everything is set up for the big Founder's Ball tonight! It's going to be at the Whitehaven Mansion Inn this year. Uh-oh! It looks like some other worldly visitors are back to probe Daniel some more! ( He was abducted literally the night before I started the playthrough for Thicket! That post is an early outtake.)
Well morning has come and the boys are rushing to the bus. It looks like new neighbor Lindsey Champagne is getting impatient waiting for the bus to move along.
Well it's getting to be time for the ball! The McCall's are of course the first there and Daniel is off to insult the chef! Yeah, that sounds like a good idea! Heather, meanwhile, is reading a random book in the dinning/ ballroom. Spoiler alert! If you remember the last time there was a Founder's Ball and the mess that was..this was an even bigger mess! No yelling matches and lovers sneaking around, but it WAS a total disaster!
To start with we had crashers! I made the decision that it was really too soon for the Saavedra's to receive an invite, but that didn't stop Freddy from showing up to drink at the bar along with Randal Stark and Phillip Wright of all people! Oh and by the way, yes Phillip IS still a teen! What is he doing at the bar!?
Apparently, Nadine who is now married to Noel, decided not to come, but Noel decided it was a better idea to chill in the hot tub with Torrey Beckwith all night rather than keep tabs on his delinquent son!
Lynne Beckwith is looking a little like she's had a rough day and yeah, Freddy is still there for some reason. He just wants to be the star of the show I guess.
Meanwhile, the McCall's both left before even introducing themselves to everyone I had queued up for them to meet! I sent them back, but of course by that time everyone was sitting in the snow in outerwear listening to ghost stories from a possibly tipsy Phillip Wright.
Phew! Finally, that disaster of a party was over and it was time to go home. Heather went home to eat while Daniel stayed the night at the hotel.
I switched over to the Dexter household to prepare for collecting taxes the next day and discovered Anaya was sleeping up in one of the hotel rooms..so typical of her! I sent her home. You can just barely see her in the elevator. What a mess!!
Welcome to the McCall household! I actually dropped in last night so these first few pictures are out of order, but I like to start each rotation with pictures of the house! Oh and a side note. There are several screenshots missing from this part of the rotation due to lovely issues with my print screen that I was still trying to figure out :/
The McCalls live in the first house in the Daisy Grove subdivision. As you can see it is now morning and the boys are getting ready to catch the bus to school. Hey! Is that my newest house in the background!?
They may not have water access, but they do have a beautiful view from their back yard! I just noticed that someone was out for a morning jog off in the distance!
The McCall's have a relatively large family home! They have a basement that I intend to finish at some point. I'm just not sure exactly what I want to put down there yet. So far it's literally just an empty box so I didn't take a picture.
Ok, so as I said, this picture was taken last night. I entered the household just before midnight to find Daniel taking the boys to the Red House Family Center on a school night!! Pretty much as soon as I loaded into the family, the boys left and went home. They probably didn't want to be out past curfew. Also, they are both FAILING school! I don't know how that is happening, but these kids need to get some sleep! They're getting up early tomorrow to do homework!
Heather was at home taking care of baby Gianna and sleeping. Oops! The window must have been displaced when I placed down this house after transferring everything to my new computer! I'm going to have to fix that!

Well it's getting close to morning anyway and with both boys fully recharged from a good night's sleep, it's time to do that homework!
With the kiddos off to school, Daniel and Heather are enjoying a nice breakfast. They have maternity and paternity leave so they won't be going to work for most of the rotation.
I am so glad that I get to play this household in the winter time, when I designed this house I imagined how nice it would look decorated for Snowflake Day!
Daniel is on diaper duty while Heather practices piano.
I noticed the computer was in need of repair and Daniel needs to increase his handiness skill for his next promotion so I had him fix it.
Daniel went to go cheer Heather on! How Sweet! I got notifications about the boys, but..printscreen..Javon came home at normal time, but Trevor was offered a chance to join a study group at school to improve his grades so he stayed behind. Also they are going on a field trip tomorrow! Yay!
We're back with the McCall's again and Heather is off to the horse ranch talking to Brice Fuentes and building an alien snowman. And I have no idea what I did to cut off half of the sims heads in these pictures..LOL! Guess I was too zoomed in or something.
Meanwhile, back at home poor Gianna is laying on the floor all poopy. I wish you could hear how loudly Trevor was playing his computer game in the background. Poor Gianna! Javon is playing with the dollhouse.
Both boys got phone calls from friends today!
Jackie Mora called to see if Stacy could come to play with Javon while Daniel and Trevor had a pillow fight in the snow!
OMG! What is going on in this town! Jackie came to drop off Stacy and is flirting with Heather while her husband is right outside no less!
It looks like Stacey went to join the pillow fight.
Oh Lordy! Something breaks in this house every day! I guess it's a good way for Daniel to boost his handiness skill.

I went through inventory to clean out junk and came across two old pieces of cake. I'm pretty sure this is from when the boys aged up from toddlers! EEEW!
At this point I feel like I should be closing out every post by saying “Next time on Sims of Our Lives” LOL! I wonder what fresh drama tomorrow will bring?
It's morning and Trevor is getting a lecture from Daniel about his grades. Javon is already up and working on homework.

Oh man, when it rains it pours! Both the sink and the dishwasher are on the blink, looks like Daniel has some work to do! Heather is taking the opportunity to play with baby Gianna!

Today, Heather decided to go to the arcade for some shuffle board!
Javon dopped off permission slips and Trevor had his study group so both boys are home late, but at least their grades are improving. Uh-oh! It looks like it's still not enough to escape time out for both boys!

Daniel must have felt bad for them because he took them to the comic book store once their time out was over.

It's Saturday here at the Dexter home and according to the forecast the last sunny day before winter! Pete is up early to make some waffles while Anaya sleeps in.
Next up a trip to the spa at the old bathhouse!
