lookism men reacting when you forget to say 'i love you' back
summary: you decided to do a little prank, turns out forgetting three little words is the fastest way to send several grown men into an emotional crisis.
author's note: took a bit too long on the request i got too carried away enjoying my break 💔 a lot of newer characters aren't here bc i genuinely don't know how to write them yet | masterlist
Daniel Park:
“I love you, don't forget to call me when you get home!"
You: “Okay. Bye.”
Pauses. Processes. Doesn’t say anything.
Says nothing for 10 minutes, then hits you with:
“Is this a test?”
You: “What?”
“A test of loyalty. Honesty. Trust. Emotional—”
He looked like a puppy, whining, drenched in the rain, getting told to stay outside the house because he destroyed the sofa. You feel so bad for him so you stay with him for 30 more minutes outside your house to calm down.
Gun Park:
“Love you.”
You: “Alright."
You blink, and he’s suddenly standing five inches closer.
“Say it.”
You: “Say what?”
“You know.”
Stares at you so hard your soul leaves your body, you say “I love you” with your full chest just to survive.
Goo Kim:
“Love you~”
You: “Mhm!”
“MHM???”
Starts spiraling instantly. Drops to the ground like a dying Victorian man.
“You said ‘mhm’ like I handed you a napkin, not my heart.”
Demands reparations in the form of 20 kisses.
Johan Seong:
"I love you."
You text: "Thanks, you too."
"You too..?"
Goes dead. Goes silent. Doesn't reply or even see your texts for a whole day.
You return home and see him glaring at you.
“I knew it. I was right all along. Trust is an illusion. Love is a scam.”
You comfort him and assure that it was just a prank, and after a while of convincing you still love him (of course you do), he breathes a sigh of relief.
You practically see Eden and Miro facepalming.
Zack Lee:
“Love you! See you later!”
You: “See ya!”
He stops. Blinks. Turns.
“…Wait.”
Follows you like a shadow. You lock the door? He stands outside. You go to work? He shows up during your lunch break.
“You forgot. I can wait. I’m patient. You’ll break before I do.”
Vasco:
“I love you!!” 🥺
You: “Hehe okay bye!”
He doesn’t move.
He just... stands there. For a while.
Then he goes to Jace:
“…Do you think they still love me even if they didn’t say it?”
Jace: panicking internally “THEY ABSOLUTELY DO.”
Jake Kim:
“Love you.”
You: “'Kay. Later!"
He nods. Then he realizes.
“Damn. That’s crazy.”
Lua overhears and with a stroke of luck (for Lua, not Jake) gossips to the girls at Big Deal street.
Word gets along fast in the street and Jake gets clowned in the groupchat within minutes.
Samuel Seo:
You: “Bye! I'll let you know when I get there.”
Samuel: “Sure. Love you.”
You wave and get on the elevator without saying it back.
He blinks.
...?
???
???????????????????
Loses his composure for a second but realizes he's in public and regains his nonchalance fairly quickly.
"Tch. Typical.”
Pretends he doesn’t care. Totally does.
Spends the rest of the day overthinking while fixing his hair in every mirror he passes.
DG/James Lee:
He texts it casually: “Love you.”
You: “Alright, later.”
Doesn’t flinch. Doesn’t comment.
Just quietly nods and moves on.
But his next text to you is noticeably more formal.
“...Let me know when you get home.”
No emojis. No pet names.
That’s his code for: “I noticed. I’m not mad. But I noticed.”
Ryuhei Kuroda:
“Love you!"
You: “Okay, bye!”
Malfunctions instantly.
“No no no NO. Run that back. Say it again. With feeling. Full sentence. I’m not letting this slide.”
Dramatically reenacts the moment for the rest of the day like it’s a trauma flashback.
You kick him out of the house and begs you to take him back.
Jace Park:
"Bye. Love you."
You: "Mhm."
His first instinct? Apologize to you.
“I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable by saying it first I didn’t mean to rush anything unless you do love me then that’s cool but if not that’s okay too unless it’s not then—”
Send help. He’s spiraling respectfully.
Hudson Ahn:
"Love you."
"Okay, bye."
You stare at each other for 5 more seconds, like you both had something to say.
In the end, he just nods calmly.
Looks away.
You turn around and catch him brooding at the sky like he’s in a coming-of-age film.
CONTENT WARNING: This post contains mild suggestive themes.
JAMES LEE
James notices it within exactly two seconds of you walking into the living room.
He says nothing. But you've managed to distract him.
His eyes trace the soft outline beneath your oversized tee.
He will play it incredibly cool.
He’ll sit back on the couch, crossing his legs, but his eyes will track your every movement as you stretch over the coffee table to grab the remote.
When you sit next to him, he casually drapes his arm over the back of the sofa, but his fingers gently hook into the collar of your tee, pulling you against him.
"You seem comfortable."
"Is that a problem?"
"Quite the opposite."
GUN PARK
The moment you walk past him in a thin, bra-less tank top, his eyes instantly fixate on the subtle bounce and the distinct outline of your nipples pressing against the fabric.
He stares right at them.
"You do know that they exist for support, right?"
"But they're a pain in the... chest?"
Gun smirks.
But as soon as the bell rings or you need to step out, he will literally take whatever oversized hoodie or jacket he’s currently wearing, toss it over your head like a blanket, and tell you to put it on.
If you complain that it’s uncomfortable, he’ll just glare.
"Only I get to see you like this, understood?".
GOO KIM
Goo is sitting on the floor playing a video game when you walk by to grab a snack.
He accidentally catches a glimpse of the unmistakable shape beneath your shirt, completely misses a combo, and the screen loudly blares GAME OVER.
He drops the controller, his jaw hitting the floor as his glasses slide right down the bridge of his nose.
"Are we... are we just letting the girls breathe today? What's the occasion?!"
"Shut tf up, Goo. I'm just feeling hot."
"..."
"Stop staring weirdo."
"Baby I'm trying, really! But they're staring back at me."
JOHAN SEONG
He’s sitting on your bed, trying to fix a strap on his bag, when you sit down right across from him in a loose, baggy pajama top.
As soon as he catches sight of it, his face goes full on medical emergency mode.
He violently snaps his head to the side and stared aggressively at the wall.
"Everything alright Johan?"
"JOHAN! ARE YOU OKAY-"
Buddy's literally having a nosebleed.
"Johan, calm down! It's just my pajamas; besides we're at home."
After you clean him up, he gets extremely touchy.
Wrapping his arms around your waist while you cook. Or constantly touching you while you guys sit on the couch watching movies.
SAMUEL SEO
He’s pouring himself a glass of water when you walk into the kitchen.
His eyes immediately lock onto your chest,
He sets the glass down with a heavy thud. He moves towards you.
"Are you doing this on purpose?"
"Why is something wrong?"
His eyes drop to your chest.
"Ohhhh. I don't think this should be a problem. You walk around like this all the time-"
He doesn't let you complete the sentence.
He hooks his fingers under the hem of your shirt, lifting it just enough to see your boobs.
"Smart choice. Saves me the trouble of taking it off later."
DANIEL PARK (OG)
Poor, sweet Daniel.
You two are sitting on the floor studying when you stretch your arms over your head, lifting your shirt just enough to show that you're completely free underneath.
Daniel looks up, sees the distinct movement, and his eyes go wiiiiide.
He lets out a high-pitched squeak, as his hands fly up to cover his face.
"Y/N! Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to look, I swear!"
He’s currently sweating through his clothes because he doesn't know where to look.
Even after you laugh and tell him it’s fine, he keeps his eyes glued strictly to his textbook, his fingers trembling as he turns the pages.
He keeps stealing tiny glances when he thinks you aren't looking, his heart beating so loud you can practically hear it.
JAKE KIM
Jake’s lying on the bed when you walk in, and the second he notices your bra-less look
A slow, incredibly fond grin spreads across his face.
He opens his arms wide, patting the empty spot on his chest.
"Come here the love of my life."
The moment you slide into his embrace, he wraps his large arms securely around your back, his hands sliding under your shirt to press directly against your bare skin.
He lets out a contented sigh, burying his face in your hair.
"I love it when you're this relaxed around me. Makes me feel like you're officially all mine."
Series Title/AU: My Baby Brother is the Strongest Character
<<read the synopsis and content warnings first>>
Pairing/Relationship: isekaid!older sister!Reader x Gun Park, nurse!Reader x platonic! J High students
You sat on the veranda facing your miniature garden. Behind you, your baby brother struggled to be gentle as he detangled the knots in your hair.
“Gun, I have a request.”
“At least let me finish this one before you assign me another chore.”
You chuckled dryly. “Don’t be silly, children should be happy to help their elders.”
“Whatever you say, nee-san. So, what’s this request?”
“Don’t ever tell anyone that you do not wish to be the next leader.”
You felt his hands flinch.
“It’s okay if you don’t want the position, but don’t ever voice those feelings, not until you’re an adult.”
Gun stopped brushing your hair.
“It’s a weird request, I know, but please humor me.” You gazed at the orange sky. “Our cousin is a kind person, and this is the only way we can protect him.”[1]
“I don’t understand. You’re being cryptic again.”
“Just listen to me, will you? This is for the greater good.” You tousled his hair.
Pouting, he demanded you comb it back for him.
***
He had just finished today’s training when Haruto arrived, grinning softly. “I’ll walk with you back inside.”
Gun bowed to his teachers and then joined his cousin, who suddenly asked, “You’re close with your sister, aren’t you?”
“I don’t know. She messes up my hair every time she sees me and pinches my cheeks whenever I win at those silly games she likes, and she forces me to watch those American sitcoms so I can learn English—but I think she just wants someone to shake when something funny happens. She also talks in riddles and laughs at her own jokes. Not to mention she converses with her pet fish…”
“Do my eyes deceive me? Your words are harsh but you’re smiling.”
He covered his mouth with both hands, earning a laugh from his cousin. “...am not.”
A chuckle, then silence.
Haruto stopped walking.
“Gun, I shouldn’t be telling you this, but it doesn’t look like anybody else cares.” He turned to face the younger boy. “Father plans to marry her off this spring.”
“To who?”
“To the Kurosawa family’s successor.”
“But…” That man was twenty-nine years old. “...my sister just had her twelfth birthday.”
His cousin closed his eyes. “I’m sorry.”
Stare…
Staaaare…
“The light’s green, idiot.” Gun grabbed Goo’s jaw and forced him to look forward. “Keep your eyes on the road.”
“I’m surprised you could tell, you’ve been glued to that phone since this morning. I’m a little hurt.”
Gun ignored him.
“Did you finally find a woman willing to put up with your bullshit?”
The provocation went right over his head as a new message arrived.
Older Sister: i get off work at 4, want sum bbq?
He sighed and put down his phone, simultaneously punching Goo’s face away. “It’s rude to read other people’s messages, asshole.”
“Don’t go preaching about manners when you’ve been on your phone all day and ignoring me, bastard.”
“Whatever. Just drive.”
“How’s that successor you’ve been nurturing?”
“I’m letting him be for the time being.”
“Well, I hope you know what you’re doing. Choi’s going to want an update soon.”
“I don’t need you to remind me.”
“You just seemed distracted lately.”
“You worry about yourself,” he said, typing a short reply back. “I know my priorities.”
After you fell into the ocean, Gun lived for revenge. When he got his revenge, he carried on aimlessly. He refused to stay in Japan despite his cousin’s insistence, and when he came to Korea he agreed to join forces with Charles Choi purely on a whim.
But now his light has returned and he will never lose it again.
***
It was ten minutes before four p.m. but you decided to close the clinic early and visit the principal’s office.
“You want to hold a lecture on gambling? Why so suddenly?”
“Lately, there has been a rise in minors participating in online betting and I would like to ensure our students don’t end up getting scammed.”
The elderly man glanced at the other staff member in the room, Gordon Park, and asked, “Is that true?”
“I heard some of the kids near my place talking about some gambling site, but I don’t think it’s reached our students just yet.”
“Huh…” The principal clasped his hands together and looked at you. “I’m not opposed to the idea. Prevention is better than cure, as they say, but who would hold the seminar? We don’t have the funds for that.”
“I’ll do it then,” you answered immediately, surprising both men.
“Eh? Nurse, I know you care for the children and I appreciate your efforts–we all do–but even if you did, we can’t pay you for that.”
“I don’t mind, it’s not like I’ll be doing anything special. I just need an hour or so with each department. Here’s a rough outline of the lecture.” You put a copy of your powerpoint slides on the desk and slid it towards the principal, who gave it a quick scan before handing the folder over to Gordon.
You rose to your feet and bowed. “Please consider.”
The men exchanged looks.
After a beat, Gordon Park spoke, “Let’s do it, sir.”
“But Park—”
“Educating them about how scammers work has no downside, and the worst thing that they can do is not listen.”
You smiled inwardly. Mister Park was the only teacher named in J High and one of the few reliable, normal adults in the entirety of Lookism.
The principal scratched his wig before exhaling loudly. “All right! I can’t think of a reason to say no. But because this is technically unofficial, I can’t have you disturbing the regular lessons. You’re going to hold your lecture during breaks.”
You bowed. “Thank you, sir, and thank you, Mister Park.”
With that done, you stepped out of the office and threw your arms upward for a full-body stretch.
That’s one thing off your mind.
The kids of this generation grew up with the internet, but at the end of the day, they were still kids. They had crappy survival instincts. It may not be much, but hopefully, a good talk about how scammers work can prevent the tragedy of Jiho Park. [2]
You checked your phone as you made your way out of the school building.
Kiddo: I’ll pick you up.
You: you don’t hafta do that
You: let’s meet up at the restaurant, i’ll send you the address
Kiddo: Too late.
Students crowded by the school gate. Those at the back caught sight of you and then tapped the shoulders of those in front of them. Like a mob of meerkats, they raised their heads in unison and stared at you.
Just another day in your life, to be frank.
You nodded at them. “See you guys next Monday.”
Once you actually reached the gates, you realized why they were all gathered here.
Gun stood across the street, dressed to the nines and leaning over a sleek black sedan while staring at his phone.
When he finally noticed you, he pocketed his phone and smiled.
Some girls behind you KYAAAAH’d. Having enough of this circus, you turned around and addressed the students, “What are you doing? The guards have to lock up. Go home.”
“But miss—”
“Home. Now.”
They let out a collective groan and started treading off campus grounds.
You half-jogged towards Gun. “Sorry about that.”
“You seem used to it.” He tugged on your purse.
“Unfortunately. Did you wait long?”
“No, I just got here a few minutes ago.”
“I hope you’re hungry because I plan on pigging out tonight.”
“Is that so?”
“Yup, but before that, I need to make a quick detour.”
“Okay. Where to?”
“It’s only a couple of blocks away from here. I won’t be long.”
He slid the purse strap over his shoulder. “Okay, I’ll walk with you.”
You didn’t argue and led him to an alley where a dog waited for you in a house of cardboard. A bright red scarf was draped over her back.
“Hey, Enu!”
Her tail wagged but then she growled at the sight of Gun.
“It’s okay, sweetie, he’s harmless.” You motioned for Gun to open your purse so you could reach for the dog food. “Sorry to keep you waiting.”
“Is she a Golden?”
“Mixed. Apparently, that’s why her old owners left her here. I wanted to take her home with me but…” you trailed off.
“But?”
“Mm, she’s not my destiny.”
Gun looked at you like you were crazy.
You fixed Enu’s scarf and then explained, “I started feeding her since I transferred here last year. The students found out and now they take turns giving her food and playing with her. Some of them even wanted to take her home but she’s indignant about waiting for her old master. She lets me touch her, but she never tries to follow me when I leave. We’re not meant to be.”
“It’s nice to know that, even after all these years, you still talk like a weirdo, nee-san.”
“I take that as a compliment.”
Gun took a step forward.
Enu growled at him but he continued until he was close enough to offer his hand. She sniffed his fingers for a while, let out a final growl and then resumed her dinner.
“Wow. It took me a whole month to get her to stop biting me.”
“I think you softened her up, so thank you for your sacrifice.”
You leaned your head over his shoulder.
“She looks like Nugget, don’t you think?”
“I think she looks like a dog, nee-san.”
“You lack imagination.”
“I don’t wanna hear that from someone who named a dog ‘Dog’.”[3]
“For your information, I didn’t give her that name. That’s what the neighbors called her and it stuck.”
“And what would you have named her?”
“Pudding.”
“That’s so…so you.”
You laughed and patted his knee. “Come on, let’s go.”
You eventually made it to the BBQ place and after giving your order, you decided to ask the hard questions.
“It’s really nice to have you back, Gun.”
“That’s my line.”
“Is…is Haruto…”
“He’s alive.”
Years of guilt fell off your shoulder, the weight on your chest gone as you let out a shaky breath. “Oh.” You covered your face. “That’s good.”
Gun was quiet as you wiped the tears with a napkin.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t want to spoil the evening…but that’s good news, that’s really great news.”
He reached over the table and gave your free hand a squeeze.

“Hey,” Gun’s voice was low as he confronted the teenager that had been pointing his phone at you, “didn’t your mother teach you that it’s rude to film others without permission?”
Taejoon Park nearly crapped his pants.
The moment you left for the restroom, the man appeared next to him without warning. He was like a ghost.
Taejoon knew that he should hurry and apologize, but the pressure was too much! His mind blanked out.
The man held out his hand. “Give me your phone.”
“Ah—”
“Don’t make me take it from you.”
“Eep!”
He surrendered the device with a bow.
“So you’re a student at J High.”
“Yes!”
“Why were you taking pictures of the school nurse?”
“Um…”
“Hurry up.”
“B-b-because…um…” He heard a crack coming from the hand holding his phone and Taejoon confessed, “The nurse is popular and everyone’s curious about her!”
“Is that true? She’s popular?”
“Yes, yes! Everyone loves her but she never talks about herself so…you know…” In Taejoon’s case, however, he simply enjoyed being the center of attention, even if it was just attention for leaking photos of the nurse.
The man sighed then returned the phone. “I’ll let you go just this once, but don’t do this again. And delete the photos.”
“Yes, sir! Thank you, sir!”
The man returned to his table and a few seconds later, you were back. “After this, I want to get ice cream.”
“We haven’t even finished cooking the pork belly and you’re already thinking of dessert?”
Taejoon wiggled in his seat in disgust. The Doberman that chipped his phone screen was gone, replaced with a puppy-like boy.
He’d rather not risk getting bitten so he erased the photos and signaled the waiter for the bill.
[1] SPOILER ALERT!!! For those who are not up to date with Gun Park's backstory, Haruto Yamazaki is his cousin, son of Shintaro Yamazaki. In the canon timeline, Haruto is killed.
[2] Recap: This is referring to what happens during the Illegal Toto Arc (Ep. 83-90)
[3] Inu/Enu's name is Japanese for "dog."

CHARACTERS: Gun Park, Goo Kim, James Lee, Daniel Park, Jake Kim, Eli Jang, Kitae Kim.
GUN PARK
The moment he walks into the house, the entire atmosphere changes. Your parents sit up straighter without even realizing it. It’s the Yamazaki effect.
He’s absurdly polite, all good manners and respectful nods. A part of him is probably itching to test your dad’s strength, but he won’t. Gun’s a gentleman.
With or without his sunglasses, your parents are convinced you brought a mafia boss home. Which… technically, you did.
Surprisingly, he’s very knowledgeable about everyday affairs and slips into conversation with your mom and dad with ease. He remembers every tiny detail they mention.
Your mom somehow ends up charmed by him, though your dad still remains a little suspicious. Eventually, Gun invites him to the sauna or out jogging, and slowly they become best frendos who occasionally drink together. Sometimes Goo Kim joins them too.
GOO KIM
Arrives late~
Shows up with the weirdest gift imaginable, but somehow your mom loves it because, despite everything, it’s practical. The moment he sees your dad, he immediately calls him “Dad” and pulls him into the tightest hug imaginable.
Throughout dinner, he says things so outrageous that your parents genuinely can’t tell whether he’s joking or subtly threatening someone.
Somehow, he charms everyone anyway.
Your mother laughs at all his jokes. Your father tries not to laugh and fails miserably.
He helps around the house and acts like he’s already an essential part of the family which, surprisingly, he becomes. By the end of the night, your parents are already asking him to visit again.
“Babe, your family likes me. I think I’m their favorite child now.”
He absolutely tells embarrassing stories about you just to watch you suffer. He’ll also somehow plan a situation where you have to say, “Daddy, pass me the salt,” only for both him and your actual father to reach for it at the same time. Oops.
JAMES LEE
Your parents are stunned the second they see him.
Both of them are genuinely mesmerized by how handsome he looks. It’s not just his appearance, it’s the way he carries himself that changes the entire atmosphere. Your mother suddenly starts fixing her hair. Your father becomes suspicious because nobody should naturally look that flawless.
Even though James is perfectly capable of charming people, with your parents he tries to be unusually genuine and relaxed. At the same time, though, he doesn’t particularly care about winning their approval either. He doesn’t give a fuck 😭
By the end of the night, your parents are left wondering how you managed to pull someone like him.
He compliments the food, the house, and asks thoughtful questions about your parents’ work. He has a way of making people feel important when they talk about themselves.
The fact that he’s now a politician practically makes your parents swoon. Wealthy? Successful? Well-spoken? What more could they ask for in a son-in-law?
Your father almost starts seeking his approval in every conversation.
When you both leave, your parents are already asking about wedding dates. You immediately shush them and tell them not to pressure James, but he just laughs softly and says,
“Whenever you’re ready. I’ll keep the ring handy.”
Your mother nearly squeals because she’s officially become a James fangirl.
DANIEL PARK
Daniel is unbelievably nervous. To him, meeting your parents feels like a life-or-death situation. He’d rather face Kitae again than do this.
He rehearses greetings in the mirror beforehand, brings flowers, and probably Googles “how to impress your girlfriend’s parents” at least ten times.
But the moment your parents meet him, they instantly adore him, because sincerity like Daniel’s can’t be faked. There’s a warmth to him that people naturally trust.
Your mom keeps feeding him more food because he looks far too sweet to refuse.
Your dad ends up giving him life advice for nearly two hours after learning Daniel grew up without a father figure and went through so much because of the people around him🥀
Daniel listens sincerely to every word.
When you walk him home afterward, he lets out the deepest sigh of relief.
“I thought your father was going to interrogate me…”
And then he kisses your cheek.
JAKE KIM
Jake is surprisingly relaxed about the meeting, though deep down he hopes your parents won’t recognize him and start talking about Gapryong Kim.
Unfortunately, things go even worse than that.
The moment they see the scar on his face, your parents are convinced you brought home a gangster.
Your dad starts testing him with serious questions, but instead of trying to impress anyone, Jake answers honestly.
Slowly, the atmosphere eases. Jake is naturally affable, and Sinu has definitely coached him beforehand.
If your family situation is tense or complicated, Jake notices immediately. Under the table, he gives your hand reassuring squeezes whenever conversations become uncomfortable.
Later, your mother says:
“He feels like someone who would protect you no matter what.”
And she’d be absolutely right.
ELI JANG
Your mother falls in love with him instantly.
He has a soft voice, gentle eyes, and is incredibly sweet with you. Everything about him feels warm and comforting.
The problem begins when he mentions Yenna.
At first, your parents are completely caught off guard by the fact that he already has a daughter. The atmosphere becomes tense almost immediately.
Later, they tell you that you need to come out of your fairytale and find someone more suitable.
But to you, nobody is more suitable than Eli.
And eventually, once your parents meet Yenna, everything changes.
Yenna quickly becomes a regular visitor at your house and starts calling your parents Grandma and Grandpa. In the end, they completely adore Eli and wholeheartedly accept your relationship.
KITAE KIM
The moment your parents open the door and see him standing there with an axe, they die of a heart attack😔🥀
A trend where you yell the words at your bf and try to hug him to see what he’ll do
Jonggun: *blows smoke in your face*
Goo: ‘I’m Gay!’
Gitae: *Strikes you with his axe*
James: *Dodges and walks past you*
DG: *Tries his best to be polite even though he’s restraining himself from being rude*
Daniel: ‘I’m sorry miss but i’m taken.’
Vin jin: *Probably shoves you very hard off him and will say some insults at you*
Vasco: *Gives you a lecture on how you should not try to get with a taken man nor try to invade their personal space because that can be disrespectful and rude*
Zack: *little bit flustered, but will try to get away and tell you you’re not as pretty as his gf*
Jay Hong: ‘…………………………’
Eli jang: ‘uhm…can you get off me?….i’m not single…’
Jake kim: ‘miss can you move it? I’m not exactly fond of being touched without permission.’
Hudson Ahn: ‘ 0/10.’
Jaegyeon na: ‘that touching you did will cost you at least 340.000.000. Won.’
Taesoo ma: *starts beating you*
Jichang kwak: *ignores you and tries to walk past you*
Jinrang: *stares for a very long time, looking rather unimpressed*
Gongseob Ji: *flirts back*
Seongji yuk: *Stares in utter confusion*
Samuel seo: *Grips your arm pretty hard with a rather creepy smile*
Eugene: *politely smiles but sets some distance*
Ryuhei Kuroda: ‘you’ll have to wait in line for that one girly.’
Sinu han: *awkwardly pats your back with a nervous laugh*
B-But, Daniel gets his daily dose of serotonin from kissing you... multiple times... throughout the day! This is unbelievably cruel (he's being dramatic), can you please at least tell him what he did wrong so he can make amends? (the list is long).
Eli is very accepting of it... Except he has that look of a sad puppy on his face that makes you feel like you probably committed some cardinal sins. It's not intentional... but it's very effective in getting back to your good grace, he might even look extra sad.
Will probably annoy you back into lifting the ban
Johan could've employed the puppy dog tactic. He totally can. But he's more into sulking, you see. He'll probably be grumpy for the rest of the day. Won't even try to kiss you again, but it will be YOUR problem to deal with because he's being so moody.
The moment you try to deflect him, Goo is already pretty much "How dare you?" He'll get his kiss, and he demands it. In fact, put aside his business, it's now his directive for the day to annoy you into giving him SOMETHING. EVEN A PECK WOULD DO. COME HERE.
Completely chill with it
Okay? Samuel is not often affectionate anyway. So banning him is like stopping something that's... not even there... Hope you're happy with your decision... Now, you went from nothing (against your will) to nothing (in your will).
Unlike Sammy boy, Jake is very affectionate, but he understands that you might not want it all the time. So, unless it's out of character (in which he will find out the root cause of the problems), he's pretty content with leaving you be.
Lol what?
Gun just gives you a look like you're being silly again and kisses you anyway. If you're not actually against it and just playfully against it, he doesn't really care about the "ban" lol

Gun’s life was never idyllic. At a young age, he already understood the gap between himself and the happy children he saw with their parents. He had to endure years of systematic abuse and impossible expectations just to earn a name for himself under his supposed father, Yamazaki Shingen.
His memories of the younger days are a hazy cocktail of resentment mixed with the brief, stolen kindness of a cousin now long gone. Gun knows exactly how the underworld functions, and he has no intention of being a victim of it.
To him, the weak are nothing but a bore... Hence he is driven by a singular, violent ambition to stand at the top.
It came as a surprise one day when a maid fetched young Gun from his chambers. Her voice hushed as she delivered the message wherein Yamazaki Shintaro had requested his presence immediately. Whatever the reason was, the urgency was palpable and Gun knew better than to keep him waiting.
When he stepped into the room, the air felt thick. His eyes swept over the guests. They were unfamiliar faces with the unmistakable signs of another Yakuza family.
Gun didn't utter a word– he never did. Because living in a world like his, silence is the greatest armor.
He crossed the room while maintaining a perfect, unreadable mask. The only sound was the faint rustle of his movements as he took his place on the tatami mat. Shintaro sat like a statue beside him, eyes glued to his nephew from the moment he stepped inside the room. The heavy silence stretched until Gun was fully settled as the weight of a dozen unspoken threats hanging in the air.
“So, this is him?" the elder guest mused, his voice cutting through the heavy silence. Shintaro offered a sharp, singular nod. "Now that you've seen him for yourself, what are your thoughts? Surely you wouldn't reject such a generous offer?"
What offer? Gun wondered as his mind raced. He fought to keep his expression a perfect blank, stifling the urge to let confusion or disdain flicker across his face.
A slight movement caught his peripheral vision immediately. Tucked beside the older stranger sat a girl, appearing no older than Gun himself.
She looked timid at first glance but as their gazes locked, she stared back with a haunting, shameless intensity. Gun felt a sneer threatening to break his composure. What is a weak girl like her doing in a room like this?
The guest chuckled this time. It was a sound of pure greed as if he had just hit the jackpot. He looked like a shameless creature who would willingly trade his own blood like livestock in exchange for a payout.
“He is more than I could have hoped for. Very well, the deal stands,” the man declared. Shintaro offered a thin, knowing smirk.
It was the kind he would wear whenever he’d orchestrated something iniquitous for the sake of the clan. It was a look of satisfaction that rarely boded well for Gun.
“And the wedding?” the guest pressed. “When shall it be?”
“Patience. We have only just reached an agreement... The details can wait,” Shintaro hummed. His gaze finally shifted toward Gun and the poor boy felt himself flinch.
He could never truly stomach Shintaroʼs icy stare.
“Gun, this is the Yamamoto family. Surely you’ve heard of them from the Ghost Brothers?” Gun offered a silent nod. As a six-year-old, what else could he do? He was trapped.
“Good. That girl before you is their daughter. You are to be wed to her,” Shintaro stated, his voice devoid of any regard for the boy’s life.
Gun didn't know what to feel. Anger, resentment, sadness– they all surged at once before settling into a cold and hollow numbness. His gaze drifted back to the girl.
She hadn't moved. She simply stared at him, as hollow and silent as a marionette.
That day, a pact was sealed in blood and ink. All of it just to gained a stronghold against Kim Gapryong. To Gun, such logic was flawed. If the Yamazaki were truly the strongest, why did they need to hide behind alliances?
He couldn't understand why Shintaro would tether him to someone else when he was being trained to be a singular force of nature. Gun didn't need a companion to navigate the underworld. He was perfectly capable of carving his own path.
Whenever the Yamamoto visited, Shintaro forced them to spend time together. It was a task Gun found utterly gruelling because according to him, the girl was an enigma he had no desire to solve.
Everything about her was strange. Her speech was incoherent, her stares were unnervingly intense and above all, she was fragile. Seeing her trip over her own kimono and bleed so easily turned his stomach.
I’m supposed to marry this? Gun would think as a wave of disgust washing over him. He would rather break every bone in his body through training than spend another minute bound to someone so fragile.
Everything shifted when Shintaro uncovered the truth of their origins and betrayed Shingen. In an instant, the world collapsed. One by one, the clan turned their backs on Yamazaki Shingen. All except Gun.
The bloodbath ended with his father’s death and his mother’s betrayal. Realizing Japan was no longer safe, Gun fled to Korea with the help of the very woman who had abandoned him.
Years bled into one another until Gun finally returned to Japan to usurp the throne from Shintaro. He succeeded in claiming his birthright with lethal precision, but the victory was hollow.
He had no family left. His mother had sacrificed herself to ensure his survival, and the loss stung more than he cared to admit.
It was a feeling he despised... A raw, human ache that had no place in the heart of the Yamazaki patriarch.
"What? Are you serious?" one of the Yamazaki underlings barked, furrowing his brow and crossing his arms in defiance. "You want us to act as proxies for the clan?"
Gun who was draped in a loose yukata, gave a sidelong glance as he dressed. The years had been transformative to him. His frame was a map of rippling muscle and jagged scars, and his arms heavily decorated with intricate tattoos.
He had grown into a man who was as lethal as he was striking.
"That was the plan. Do you have a problem with it?" Gun’s voice was low, dangerous.
"It’s not that, but... how should we answer the Yamamoto leader when she finds out about your return? If we lie, we'd be dead. She's been asking us to track you down since your disappearance. Shintaro doesn't know about this, of course,"
Yamamoto.
It was a familiar name, but Gun didn't pay it any mind at first. "I thought that clan was wiped out the day they sided with Shintaro to annihilate Shingen."
"Mostly wiped out by Shingen," the underling corrected.
...And Shintaro used to say Yamamoto is their strongest ally. What a joke.
"The only survivors were the elder and his daughter. But the elder was assassinated not long after the battle ended,"
Gun paused, his hands hovering over the silk of his robe. "Assassinated? By whom?"
"His own daughter who abolished the Yamamoto organization. The very girl Shintaro betrothed you to, I believe."
Gun went still, his eyes tracking the path of the kunai that had barely missed him. At the entrance stood his betrothed.
Time had been just as kind to you as it had to him. You had matured into a beautiful woman yet your eyes remained the same. Except now, they carried a weight he couldn't name.
He stared at you in stunned silence. The fragile girl who once bled from a simple trip was gone. You watched him with a detached and clinical gaze, treating him like just another target.
"You..." Gun started, but the word died in his throat. He searched his memory, only to find a hollow space where your name should have been.
Had he ever even asked? The silence in the room grew heavy, fueled by his own embarrassment. He was the head of the Yamazaki clan yet he was standing in front of his wife, unable to even address you properly.
“Put that down,” Gun commanded, gesturing to the blade in your hand. You merely tilted your head upon hearing his tone. “You’ll hurt yourself with that,” he added, his voice low. But you didn't move and instead, your grip remained firm.
Clicking his tongue in irritation, Gun stepped into your space. He reached out, his large hands gently but firmly untangling your fingers from the hilt. Once the steel was free, he tossed it across the room... far out of your reach.
When you looked up at him, he felt a rare moment of uncertainty. His muscles twitched when your hand covered his calloused fingers, but he didn't pull away.
The contact was light, almost fragile.
He had come here to see the Yamamoto remnants for himself, unable to reconcile the image of the clumsy girl from his youth with the rumors of a cold-blooded patricide. Looking at you now, you're so silent and observant... just like you used to.
The idea of you murdering anyone felt impossible. Yet, he didn't truly care about the morality of it.
If your father had been anything like his own, Gun felt a flicker of grim pride that you had been the one to annihilate your tormentor.
Through the silence, your eyes softened as they locked onto his. In that wordless gaze, Gun felt a message he hadn't expected... Welcome back.
Beautiful, Gun thought as his fingers deftly plucked a stray flower. He never imagined the day he would willingly walk beside a woman while simply admiring her in silence. But that was the reality of life with you.
Three years had passed since he returned and in that time, he had made a definitive choice. He decided to keep the marriage.
At first, his decision hadn't been born of love. It was driven by cold curiosity and his duty as the head of the clan. He had viewed you as a responsibility, a piece of the Yamamoto legacy to be managed.
But three years of shared quiet had taught him that a partnership wasn't the burden he once feared. You were more endearing than he ever expected.
After learning from a Yamamoto maid about your selective mutism, the pieces of the puzzle clicked into place. Gun understood the math of it all too well. Your father who found joy in the abuse of his own children was a monster he recognized.
Now, he didn't just tolerate the silence. He embraced it. Your presence was a peaceful, rare sanctuary in his violent world. In his mind, you were still weird of course... but oddly enough, that was exactly what made him adore you more.
A soft smile touched your lips as Gun tucked the flower behind your ear. The way your eyes twinkled with excitement made his stomach churn.
It was a foreign, fluttering sensation he still struggled to name. When he’d described it to Goo, his friend had simply laughed and called it giddiness. Calling it love.
Love? Gun wondered. Could a monster like him truly feel it? Was he even worthy of it?
Those questions haunted the corners of his mind until one night, under a moon that turned the world to silver and a sea of stars that sparkled with mischief...
Your lips met in a kiss that began softly before igniting into a desperate, passionate flame. The tension broke the moment you climbed onto his lap. Your arms winding around his neck as your kimono slipped, baring your shoulders to the cool night air.
There was no hesitation in his touch anymore. He moved with you and his skin was hot against yours. You clung to him, your soft sobs of pleasure the only soundtrack to your union... until the silence finally broke.
"I love you,"
A word slipped from your lips like a mantra, breathless and holy.
It was the first time he had ever heard you speak, and the very first thing you gave him was your heart.
"Jonggun... I love you," you whispered again.
The sound of his name left Gun short-circuited and his breath hitching in his throat. After all, he was just a man.
He crushed his mouth to yours, growling out his own devotion between gasps. As the rhythm of your bodies intensified, the silence of the room was finally filled with the music of your pleasure.
AN. free my man, gun. even tho he did everything he was accused of 🙏
Notes: fluff, funny (try to), established relationship
Summary: you’re cooking and decide to prank them by letting them taste test a heavily salted spoonful of whatever you made
GUN
You and Gun don’t really eat at home much as he prefers to take you out to dinner most nights so he isn’t very familiar with your cooking.
But he just broke his arm and you felt like cooking for him as a nice gesture. He isn’t very convinced tho but who is he to argue with you.
You’re almost finished cooking and was about to call him over when you remembered this prank you saw on TikTok.
You take a spoonful of salt and lightly dip it in the sauce to cover the salt and call Gun over.
He blindly puts the whole spoon in his mouth and pauses. He’s stood there for a good 5 seconds with an unreadable expression and you’re trying SOOOO hard not to burst out laughing.
He then quickly takes the wooden spoon off your hands, turns the stove off and picks you up “get ready we’re going out to eat”.
After you tell him it was a prank he says his kidneys could have burst from all that salt.
VASCO
Vasco is soooo excited you’re going to cook for him for the first time so you feel kind of bad about what you’re about to do.
He was right there in the kitchen with you watching you with cute, shiny, puppy eyes as you expertly move about chopping ingredients and stirring the cooking pan from time to time.
It was getting really hard to execute your plan as he was watching like a HAWK so you get the idea to ask him to set the table. Not your best idea as you ended up losing 2 perfectly new plates (he was just so excited the plates slipped from his hands poor baby).
He was about to run to the supermarket which was 2 miles away to buy them again but you managed to stop him.
You ask him to taste the spoon you secretly managed to load with a boat load of salt and you’re eagerly waiting for his reaction.
However, Vasco’s like “HMM THIS IS SO GOOD, YOU’RE AMAZING!!”. You were confused because you were 100% sure you put more salt on that spoon then there is in the ocean so how can he say that??
You try it yourself while he’s setting the table with 2 other plates and quietly gag. The salt is there!! Was he lying to not make you feel bad??
No, he was not, he genuinely didn’t notice it was full of salt because he was so excited you made something for him.
CHERISH HIM OKAY???
DANIEL
He is also very excited you’re cooking for him and he’s following you around the kitchen asking to help in any way.
You send him off to set the table while you prepare your trap.
You call him over to taste and he rushes over at the speed of light.
He puts the spoon in his mouth and briefly pauses, all sign of life leaving his eyes. He keeps on chewing and gives you a smile (as naturally as he can) and nods in approval “So gooood….” but he doesn’t know you can see his eyes watering and sweat forming on his forehead.
You know he’s lying but you go along with it, “are you sure you like it? It’s my first time making this” “d-do you like it?” “yeah! but I don’t know I feel like I messed up somewhere. Maybe I should add more salt” “NO THIS IS FINE”.
You give up and serve the food on the plates, poor guy he’s just staring at his plate and watching you eat your food in disbelief 😭
