Today marks the 5th year anniversary of Danny Chen, a 19 year old army private who was hazed to death in Afghanistan. Eight soldiers were found or plead guilty. Two received prison sentences, two were discharged, others were demoted and docked pay. Military hazing continues to take the lives of young Asian American soldiers, the latest case is Raheel Siddiqui, a 20 year old Pakistani American marine who was found dead only eleven days into his training in March.
