I started a longfic about The Void Within plot from mostly the leaders's perspective!

Guess what the main ship is! It's Lord Darigan/King Roo, also known as DariRoo, or Rooigan.

It's a slow-burn, distaste-to-friends-to-lovers story in the midst of a thrilling, world-ending, bureaucratic emergency.

Official Summary:

When a void appears in the sky over Neopia, and Meridell is consumed by grey magic, world leaders are invited to gather in the ancient and fortified city-state of Altador to discuss strategy and to "foster international cooperation from every nation," as the fine print says. And they really meant every nation. And together they will figure out what kind of heroes the world needs, or fall trying.
