Padmé accepted the 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘦: she is part of the Empire after 𝑷𝒂𝒍𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒕𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒍 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒙𝒚 and she is an undercover rebel. Her children are protected, but she doesn't back down in the face of injustice. Padmé is in the 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐲 zone with her husband

So i got a random flash of inspiration and thought about writing a Star Wars: Empress Amidala AU fic. Here's my preliminary notes for people to give feedback on.

Episode 3 goes as Canon up until mustafar

Padmes love and loyalty to anakin (plus a more convincing pitch by Anakin that peace can only be kept via strict rule) leads to her joining his side

Anakin and obi wan fight, Anakin wins (shorter duel, less action due to format) Doesn't get burnt

Anakin goes to sidious and kills him with a lightsaber

Sidious death framed as a betrayal by the jedi, legitimising order 66

Padme declares herself the successor to Palpatine and uses his death to rally support for the galactic empire (The only way to establish long term peace is through strict dictatorial rule)

Senator Amidala crowned as Empress Amidala, Anakin becomes her enforcer, Still called "Darth/Lord Vader" as a public name

Anakin creates a new lightsaber, modifying his to become Vader's Canon lightsaber and corrupting his Kyber Crystal to make his blade Red

Anakin's clothing becomes a lightweight version of his Vader suit, to shed his connection to the Jedi, allow easier movement than Canon Vader and without his mask because he doesn't get roasted on Mustufar

Luke and Leia are groomed to succeed the two of them, Leia as Empress and politician, Luke as an inquisitor/enforcer/commander

Death Star is still created, possibly still blown up.

Anakin and Padme focus on establishing imperial control over the galaxy, Vader hunting down surviving jedi (perhaps taking Starkiller/Galen Marek as an inquisitor)

Ahsoka may or may not show up (I haven't seen enough of Clone Wars, Rebels or her own show to be confident in writing her character, especially right after TCW)

Shaak Ti dies (because funny in joke about her constantly being killed in games or deleted scenes and she keeps coming back)

CW: Grooming, so much grooming, sexual and non-sexual. Mentioned underage. Obi-Wan death :((

I'm a sex pervert sicko freak!! This is not a tasteful study on the implementation and effects of grooming, it is for my enjoyment from thinking about older Padmé getting weird with underage Anakin.

AU where Padmé actually does groom Anakin bc even though she isn't force sensitive Palpatine still saw the ability to use her affinity for politics and grooms her to be his evil political protégé and a valuable arm and asset for when he moves to take over the republic. But she still acts very humanitarian and stuff as a role to be an "opposing" voice to the Chancellor (which wow somehow he almost always gets his way, interesting how that happens) and also as a sort of disguise that keeps others from suspecting they are co-conspirators for any funny republic business.

So he instructs her to build a relationship with young anakin somewhat like he does but with the full intention of having him develop romantic feelings for her. She doesn't do this when she herself is a child tho bc that's not as hot to me. She becomes a senator at 18 so she'll be like 18-21 years old and Anakin 13-16 around the time they are meeting.

So Anakin is head over heels for her, of course, but then Padme ends up with feelings for him too. She starts plotting how she can steal him away from Sidious (does she know the full scope of his plans or his identity as a sith? Or does she find out later investigating him for herself? Hmm) and this ends up with her usurping him to become empress with Vaderkin's help defeating him once he's already been weakened.

If she still goes to mustafar to "confront" anakin, it's to take obi-wan to his death by running to Anakin and making all sorts of claims that Obi-Wan tried to capture her and keep her from him and he's going to betray Anakin!! And omg when Anakin is the one to say "you could be empress, we could rule together" she is so, so proud of herself. Like she really molded him perfectly. Giving herself a mental pat on the back.

But anyways, Anakin loves Obi-Wan sooo much that it interferes with their relationship and padmé's plans for Anakin and her, so he's gotta go.

Of course Obi-Wan runs after her off the ship and hears what Padme is saying. Feels betrayed himself bc he trusted Padmé to help him. Everything kind of unfolds for him in his mind and he realizes how much Padme and Palpatine have manipulated Anakin for their own ambitions and feels like a total failure. Feels like he completely let Anakin down, his brother-son-apprentice thing who he loves more than a true Jedi ever should. So he's pretty fucked up by that and it makes it harder for him to kill Anakin. Unbalances him enough for Anakin to get the upperhand. His last thoughts, feelings, maybe a few words, are how sorry he is to Anakin for not having the foresight to stop this at its conception. To forgive him if he ever made Anakin feel lacking for love and affection and care. For not questioning Palpatine and Padme's meetings with his padawan more. Of course this isn't like him excusing any of Anakin’s actions like slicing his way through the temple and younglings, but yknow. It explains a lot of stuff, some of the struggles he and anakin have had with their relationship to another, Anakin’s place in temple society as an outsider, Anakin's increasing emotional reliance on Padmé and Palpatine, those kind of things.

Anakin does not do well with killing Obi-Wan bc like deep down...he still loves Obi-Wan and is pretty torn up about killing him. And then hes gotta go do the same with Sidious! Another guy he also has deep ties with. Palpious is very weakened by the fight in his office, so with Padmé in his ear and mind he takes him down too. He doesn't enjoy that much either he gets like. post-coup clarity. But dw Padmé is there to give him some aftercare and remind him why it's a good thing he killed them. And now they can rule together <3 (really Padmé in charge with her scary second in command-husband-weapon-lover thing standing behind her, listening to and enforcing her every command.).

Vaderdala Horror AU

An idea I tried to send someone in an ask on Halloween but apparently never got through:

Dark supernatural forces beyond the understanding of even the Sith bring Padmé back from the dead shortly after ROTS. They endow her with enhanced Force Sensitivity and magic and train her in the Dark Arts, all the while feeding her hatred and corrupting her in the Dark Side. Among her new powers are hydrokinesis, life energy absorption, and a hypnotic, seductive siren voice, the effects of the last of which are augmented by skin contact.

Soon after, she returns to the Galaxy proper undercover to seek revenge against everyone she believes responsible for destroying her family and her life, including both the Jedi and the Sith. She covertly rampages through both Imperial and Rebel forces, assassinating and/or enthralling key figures, gathering intel, sabotaging operations, and creeping her way towards Palpatine, the Rebel leaders, and what is left of the Jedi. This all leads to an encounter with Vader.

I still haven't decided whether or not Padmé has targeted him as Vader for supposedly replacing her husband or as Anakin for attacking her on Mustafar. Either way, his suit renders him immune to her mind control powers, but as soon as he recognizes her, it's clear that she doesn't need them to wrap him completely around her finger, as she has already done so. After clearing the air between them about everything, the reunited couple rekindles their love and Vader eagerly agrees to help Padmé in her plans. They begin plotting out steps to recover their children, heal Vaderkin's body, eliminate their enemies, and take control of the galaxy.

Hmm...ok!

TW: sexy times ahead

Empress Padme is a fair queen. Though she may deep in the dark-side and does cruel things, it is for the good of the galaxy. She was once naively sure on the democratic system but watched as it was destroyed over and over again and the people were the ones who continued to suffer. She was tired of seeing orphaned children, families drowning in poverty, so much funding going to weapons rather than feeding the people...she had enough.

She is horribly feared but justly respected. The Clones follow her without any doubt, the people rally for her and cheer her name, politicians fear her wrath and have to remain in line if they do not wish to suffer her wrath.

There is no such thing as a rebellion because there is no need for one. Why would there be? of course if there was...well, it was usually put a quick stop to.

Hybrids are rare. Force-sensitive hybrids are even rarer. Force-sensitive hybrids who grow to adulthood without a proper master/mistress is downright impossible to find. So, even as an empress, being presented with a full-grown hybrid is a massive gift.

Anakin would be gorgeous. He's a very attractive man. His shoulders are broad, his waist is small, he has sensual muscles, and curled long brown hair and piercing blue eyes. His ears and tail are adorable and he growls like he has any power. But it is love at first sight for the two of them.

Anakin purrs and arches against Padme's slender hands, her well manicured nails scratching at him in such a way that makes his eyes roll and tail flick.

Padme ties him up and rides him that first night, torturing him with pleasure and not letting him do anything but just accept what she takes from him.

When he is delirious with pleasure, she like to make him watch her touch her tummy, purring out, "You're so big, dear...I can feel you...you're going to give me kittens of my own with this big cock, aren't you?"

Anakin does just that.

The empress is so pleased to know she has babies made by her pet inside of her. Anakin just loves to rub against her belly all the time, scenting her and the kittens inside.

Padme gets him between her legs when she is on the throne, gripping his hair and ears to make him lick her till she sees white. She won't let him come until later. Anakin is just a whimpering mess.

He kneels at her throne all day, just looking t her in complete awe and adoration and worship.

She so pegs him. No doubt about it.

Sith Padmé AU:

Okay okay so Padmé becomes a Sith at a very early age and when she becomes the queen of Naboo she uses her influence to increase her power as a Sith. During the invasion of Naboo she hides her powers and identity while with the Jedi. Everything from The Phantom Menace is relatively the same.

After becoming the senator for Naboo, Palpatine learns of her sensitivity to the force and feels the darkness within her. He tries to make her become his new aprintince. Padmé is like “nah, die you hoe” and kills him. People start freaking out since the Chancellor is dead. Padmé uses her abilities and sways the senate to vote her as the new chancellor, and so they do. Many people do not like Padmé’s views and try and kill her. So Attack Of The Clones still happens as it does only with no Palpatine.

While Anakin is with her on Naboo, he finds out she is the Sith Lord the Jedi have been looking for. (Also Padmé was unaware of the Clone Wars plot and is against it, which will be a point to come back to later) Anakin fights Padmé but fails, Padmé doesn’t kill him though, just threatens him not to tell a soul. Anakin is like “fuck thats kinda hot-“ and falls deeper in love with her. Though he absolutely will not confess his feelings to her. They still go to Tantooine and all of that still happens. Padmé decides that perhaps she doesn’t have to be a lone Sith Lord and decides that she will try and bring Anakin to the dark side. Thing is little did Padmé know there’s still Dooku to deal with. So they go to save Obi-Wan and everything goes as per canon.

The Clone Wars begins and Padmé is pissed she had no idea about this army or this war planned. So she goes to pay a nice visit to the count. They fight but neither of them win. Instead they agree that this war could be a benefit to the both of them and decide to “truce” being Sith they will constantly betray the other. So the Clone War is now raging across the galaxy, but as a normal war. (Also Order 66 never happens because I say so and Padmé was unaware of the clones) The war goes on very differently.

One day while Anakin is protecting Padmé (Dooku tried to kill her again. Also Padmé doesn’t need protection and they both know it but both go with it) anyways Anakin confesses his feelings for her and Padmé realizes she might like him too so they start dating. The Clone Wars ends in the Republic’s favor, Anakin kills Dooku, Padmé convinces Anakin to fall and so Anakin leaves the Jedi as a Sith and slowly turn democracy to an empire and rule the galaxy together
