It had been a whirlwind of emotions leading up to it with her friends trying to see what she was going to do, but she decided to wait on him. To say she caught hell from her people was putting it mildly, but she wanted to break a habit she had of being impatient and on top of that she didn’t have the funds to have the birthday she really wanted. The thing is no one had ever taken the time to think about planning anything for and he had expressed the desire to do such. Even if he wasn’t able to come through on his plans, the fact that he expressed such a desire warmed her heart and she wanted to give him that chance. She spent the first part of the day with her family, but she was ready to get dressed when he called. They were both night owls, and besides that, he understood her desire to just be with her children. Their life was in a bit of turmoil so the time she had with her children was vital to ensuring them that everything would be alright. When the call came, she got on her outfit and fixed herself up preparing to be out with her guy and looking amazing while with him. When she walked in, all eyes were on her, but his gaze was priceless. Considering they never spoke about what she was going to wear, she was hoping that he would be pleased, and he was. The red heels were a perfect complement to the jewelry, but the backless dress she wore that hugged her curves is what made him do a double take. He most definitely looked pleased.
