It's a random Tuesday, just before the new year, and I wish I could talk to you today about Scott being like, "Hi. I'm Scott." And just deciding to fight Falcon.

It doesn't hurt as bad as it did six months ago. It's not as.... not as bright. But when something pops up that makes me think of you, it's so bright. It's like a firework.

Ant-Man and the Wasp Legends: Darren Cross

Darren Cross first appeared in 1979 as a self-made millionaire and CEO of Cross Tech, who suffers from a rare heart condition that required him to use a special nucleorganic pacemaker that gives him enhanced abilities but will ultimately claim his life. He uses Scott Lang to try and steal Hank Pym's tech to save himself, and later takes his daughter hostage because her heart has a special quality that would save him at the cost of her life.

In an adaptation, Darren's certainly been done to death at this point by the MCU, though I will admit, he was distinctly robbed of his central dramatic weight from the comics. He is pretty central to Scott's story, so I don't know if I could simply do without him, but at the same time, telling his original story could inject some life back into him. As for casting, Corey Stoll could possibly return, but I could also see someone like Jon Hamm playing him.
