Before I delete this app for the weekend:
Transwomen, I have a genuine, good faith question from a radfem. And this is legit good faith. We are not attracted to you, lesbians. Or, as you believe, TERF lesbians. Even, let's say, if it was bigoted to not want to date you... why do you try to push OUR boundaries, specifically? Isn't that counterintuitive?
You talk all day about the trans community wing stereotyped as predators. I even agree there's a kernel of truth there, though I personally believe it's not the trans thing, but because that's how GNC people themselves are seen. What do you think trying to slip through someone's boundaries will do for that? I don't think it'll help.
Also, just... If you really believe we idealogically hate you for existing and want you dead, a relationship with a radfem would, theoretically, end in you being abused by us. Why would you put yourself at risk? That's considered emotional self harm, and I don't speak for all of us, but I don't want to be the blade you use to hurt yourself via dating someone you're concerned wants you dead.
Again, this is legitimately me asking in good faith. I don't understand why you push for lesbian radfems to re-evaluate our sexual orientations to include you if we're so unsafe to you.
Have a good day/night. Stay safe and warm during this cold spell and, depending where you are, potential bomb cyclone. I heard those are like snow hurricanes.
is there a guide on dating trans people and support for the other partner during the transition? dm me
Dating when you're no cis is hard *TW*
(Tw: missgendering, possible abuse? +mention of hate crimes on transfolk)
Okay. So you both like each other. Maybe even love each other
Great
Maybe, if you're lucky, they're lgbt+ supportive
Fantastic
But maybe they identify as straight ( or gay. Lesbian. Bi. Not the sexuality that means they are attracted to people of your gender.)
No problem. Maybe they just haven't found themselves and that's the label they found to fit them best thus far.
And when you come out, maybe they're supportive and accepting.
But then maybe they try to pull off your binder and groping your (breasts) or reach for your born genitals...
Or continually refer to you as (she/her/Woman - for example) after you've told them several times.
Maybe in some cases they'll be extra trashy and cheat on you with a cis person (one their sexuality is attracted to) and claim you made them do it because you're so hard to be with
You'll deal with this kind of thing allot in dating as a non cis person. Maybe a little different.
These are just based on personal experience
Not getting into the beatings and assaults and even murders that have happened to non cis folks trying to date
(And ik things are hard all around and some have it worse. Like i said. Just a personal observation about dating while not cis Even if you date someone who is supposedly an ally/lgbt)
The best in love is... https://mytransgendercupid.com/
