For me, dating someone who is younger isn’t a big deal at all. As the classic saying goes, “age ain’t nothing but a number.” Okay, that’s not always true, but in this case, it is! My boyfriend and I have been together for almost five years and he’s my best friend. Our age difference can sometimes pop up, but it isn’t a huge thing for us.

...But for reals, I seem to have this thing for younger girls and I really think I need to step out of my comfort zone and date people closer to my age, who are independent and mature and all that good stuff.  ...It’s like, I have this need to feel like I’m above the person I’m with? To feel more capable, more advanced; so that the chances of them leaving me are significantly reduced, because they consider me a remarkably good catch or whatever.

Also I’m getting kinda tired of always playing host. I wanna go to somebody else’s place for once. Also I might be taking advantage of people and breaking their hearts a bit...

But I really don’t date under 18 years old. It’s quite illegal and most times minors aren't terribly mature enough for me.
