During a trip to New York, we discovered abstract expressionist Dave Choate on the streets of Soho; a self taught and self proclaimed "late bloomer" best known for his minimal yet eccentric portraits. We were in a bit of a hurry that afternoon and I somehow never made it back his way to pick up a couple prints. Shucks. You can check out more of his work HERE
