Parody can have its ups and downs, but one thing that has always stuck with me from DBZ Abridged is Goku calling Chichi, “the beautiful lady who lives in his house.” It’s just very endearing to me. What a nice way to describe your spouse. I aspire to always be the beautiful lady who lives in someone’s house

Reasons Why Yamcha and Frieza Should Be Together:

It’s funny

Canonically, Frieza thinks Yamcha is handsome and sensible

Frieza’s got a lot of ambitions and Yamcha is the first and most consistent of the Z fighters to maintain a full-time job

They’re both referred to as “Lord”/-sama by their companions as a title upon their introduction. We support a relationship of equals

You know who didn’t want to fight Frieza when he came to earth after his first resurrection? Yamcha. Why? Because he was afraid he’d fall in love

I think it would really upset Vegeta, and if Bulma gets a planet-destroying husband why can’t Yamcha

On that point, every time a villain in proximity to the Z fighters calms down they become part of the family. Vegeta became Bulma’s husband. Android 18 became Krillin’s wife. I’ve heard Frieza is nice now, sounds like it’s time for a wedding

Technically, since Frieza was in charge of Vegeta after the destruction of the Saiyans, this would make Yamcha Vegeta’s stepdad. Poetic justice

Both of them like to change up their look pretty frequently. We love fashion-forward spouses

Yamcha has a type and that type is “short heirs to technologically-advanced capitalist empires who make him feel afraid”
