𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭. 𝐩𝐭 𝟏.
Your dates with Nightwing—with Dick—have since upgraded from your fire escape. You’d be lying if you said you weren’t a little nervous; he was taking you out to a beloved bakery in Gotham. As Dick Grayson. “It’s probably the happiest-looking place in the city,” he’d joked when he asked you out. That did not calm you.
If anything, it made you a little nervous. You loved being with Dick; he was, despite many imperfections, the greatest gift Blüdhaven ever gave you. That being said, one of the upsides to dating Nightwing was that the relationship was yours and yours alone. The meetings on your fire escape were unknown to the rest of the world. This bakery was… public. What you and Dick shared wouldn’t just be between the two of you.
“Hey, don’t be nervous,” Dick assured you, reaching across the center console of his car, parked by the curb, to squeeze your thigh. “You’ve had me naked in your bed before, this is nowhere near as intense as that.” You swatted at him, and he totally could’ve dodged, but he liked to let you get a good hit in every once in a while.
“It’s not the date with you I’m worried about. I love you. I’m… not too sure how much I love getting a ton of stares.” He grinned toothily.
“You think I’m that popular?”
“I think you’re considerably less popular than Bruce Wayne, but the association remains. Besides, this is Gotham. If we were in Blüdhaven, maybe people wouldn’t care as much.”
Wordlessly, he got out of the car, and you were disgruntled by his apparent disregard for what you were saying. However, only a second later, your door opened and there he was, holding a hand out to you. You took it.
“Actually, now that I think of it, people would probably care more in Blüdhaven. You’re rich, and therefore a target.” He helped you out of the car (not that you needed it; he liked to put on a show), and once you were standing out of the way on the sidewalk, he closed the car door and replaced his hand on the small of your back.
“That’s true. But I think I could fight them off.” Locking the car, he guided you up to the front of the bakery. It was cute, and he was right, it probably was the cheeriest building in the city, especially since the sun had decided to make its presence known that day.
When you first entered, nothing was out of the ordinary. The bakery wasn’t too busy, but it did have quite a few patrons about. At the display case, you marveled at all of the beautiful pastries and baked goods. There were cakes too beautiful to eat and loaves too fancy to be reduced to sandwich ingredients.
Dick leaned close and murmured, “Pick whatever you’d like. And something to drink, too. I’m treating you, remember.” You nodded, mouth already watering. At the register, the young lady, far too chipper to have been a born and raised Gothamite, smiled as sweetly as the products smelled while she served you. She only faltered slightly when she recognized Dick, who was equally smiley as he ordered his own treat; a gorgeously marbled mini blackberry cheesecake.
“It looks amazing, and I’ve never tried one before,” he said to you while the lady went to grab it.
Once your drinks and delicacies were laid out in front of you, Dick tapped his card and you were both off to find a spot to eat. You chose a cute little table just to the left of the door you entered from, right under a large, artfully framed window that let in considerable natural light. It was picture perfect, and Dick certainly seemed to think so, considering how you caught him sneaking a photo of you looking radiant in the sun.
“I love that outfit on you. Did I mention that?” You took a sip of your beverage; it was impeccable.
“You did, when you picked me up. You were also eye-fucking me.”
“Oh, good. I was worried I underreacted, but it sounds like I’ve got my bases covered.” He winked at you.
That was one less eye on you, to say the least. You could feel stares from the odd diner in the establishment. People totally knew you were on a date. They probably watched as Dick paid for your food with his other hand splayed across your shoulder. He did, after all, love to be close and have his hands on you.
That had been a constant from practically the beginning. When you only knew him as Nightwing, he would remove his gloves and slide his hands beneath your shirt just to feel the warmth of your skin when he held you. He would wake you up in the middle of the night (not on purpose, of course) with kisses along your jaw and down your neck, all the while murmuring about how much he’d missed you and how he was glad, as always, to find you safe and peacefully asleep. On your many, many fire escape picnics, he would always have a thigh touching yours, or an arm anchoring you to his side, or even you sitting in between his legs with your back to his chest so he could perch his chin on your head and kiss your scalp while keeping his arms around you and pointing out the few visible stars. It wasn’t possessiveness; there wasn’t anyone to prove anything to.
But here in this bakery, people were watching. And it made you miss those special moments between just the two of you.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” He set down his fork and gave you his full attention. Concern wrinkled the smooth skin between his brows. It was, you had to admit, pretty cute. You shook your head.
“It’s nothing. I was just thinking.”
“Of?”
“You,” came your confession. You didn’t need to feed his ego, but you didn’t want him to think you were having a bad time. Truly, you weren’t, it’s just that the watchful gazes weren’t your favorite. He grinned and his gaze flickered down to his cheesecake, then back to you. If you didn’t know any better you’d think he was getting shy.
“No, seriously. What’s on your mind?” You sighed. There was no fooling your dashing detective.
“I feel like everyone’s watching us.” His eyes took a quick tour of the room and locked back on you.
“Not everyone.” You rolled your eyes. “Come on,” he chuckled, reaching across the table to hold your wrist and stroke the back of your hand with his thumb. “You're stunning. Why shouldn’t they watch?”
“Because—because I don’t like it. I just want to enjoy a cute date with you.” He nodded.
“Okay. Just focus on me then, alright? Don’t even worry about anyone else. It’s just you and me here.” You nodded. Even though you knew you couldn’t drown out the background noise of others bustling around the bakery, or block the customers from your periphery, you trusted Dick. He leaned back in his chair, scooping up a bit of his mini cheesecake and holding it out to you. “Wanna try? It’s super good.”
You hesitated. Was he really going to feed it to you? He raised his brows. It was like a challenge, and unfortunately, you weren’t going to back down. You did kind of want to try his cheesecake.
You leaned forward with resignation, opening your mouth. Though you closed your eyes, you caught the lovestruck, adoring upturn of his lips before your vision went dark. The cheesecake was cool and creamy in your mouth. Unfortunately, you were rather distracted by Dick fumbling his grasp on the fork and smearing some of it across your lips and chin as he pulled back.
“Oops,” he snickered.
“Are you serious, Dick?” Truthfully, though, you couldn’t be mad. His amusement was awfully endearing.
“Fret not, my love,” he dramatically soothed. He reached for your face, but you noticed that his napkin was still very obviously untouched beside his plate. With his thumb, he swiped at the cheesecake residue on your face a few times before he hummed, satisfied with his handiwork, and promptly stuck his thumb in his mouth. Your jaw dropped.
“What? Is something on my face now?”
“You did not just eat cheesecake off my face.” You tried to ignore them, but whispers were rising throughout the establishment. He wiggled his eyebrows at you.
“Wanna bet?” You simpered at his antics. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable.” You shook your head.
“It’s not you, it’s…” What was it, really? Were you uncomfortable with the atmosphere? Were you regretting your decision to come with Dick? Was today just an off day of sorts? You mentally settled on your answer. “I think I’d just rather be with you at home, if I’m being honest. I’m aware that getting a little attention is expected when dating a nepo baby”—he frowned, obviously unimpressed with your word choice—”but right now, I think I want to…” You tapped at your chin, thinking carefully of what you wanted to say. With a smirk, you continued, “...have you all to myself.”
A fire lit behind his eyes. That was all you needed to say; you had him wrapped around your finger so tightly. He stood quickly, leaning across the table to press a kiss to your forehead (which did not help with all of the attention).
“I’m gonna go get us a to-go box.” Then, he was gone. Your warmth rushed to your cheeks with affection from Dick and embarrassment from all of the eyes on you. But before you could get too in your head about it, Dick had returned and was deftly transplanting your snacks into the little foam box. He moved the plates and silverware to the tray behind the nearby trashcan, then returned and offered a hand to help you up.
“Dick, I can stand on my own,” you protested, but you took his hand and rose to your feet, snatching your drink from the table and following him to the door. He let go of you only to open it before his hand found its way to your lower back again. He pressed a kiss to the top of your head, and you could tell he was smiling.
“I love you so much,” he mumbled.
“Even when I drag you away from our date?”
“Especially when you drag me away. We’ll go to my place, sound good? We can just lay on the couch and watch a movie while we finish,” he suggested, raising the box in his other hand to illustrate.
“That sounds perfect.” Reluctantly, Dick separated from you so you could both get in his car, but not without a little squeeze of your side that had you reaching to get him back.
Though his touch was never possessive, maybe you were. Now it wasn’t just you who knew that your partner was Dick Grayson, but the public was figuring it out too, and part of you wasn’t quite ready to share that. But in the grand scheme of things, it didn’t matter. You were the only one who got Nightwing. That much was still yours and yours alone.
Oooh I was hoping someone would ask that one! Thank you!

5: “Your arms are my safe space, so that’s where I’ll be sleeping tonight.”
Kon has heard plenty of people talking about bliss before but he had no idea what that felt like, and for the longest time he thought he’d never get to find out.
But now he thinks this is it.
Bliss, he thinks, is lying on the couch with Tim dozing on his chest. He isn’t asleep: Kon can tell by the soft, content noises he makes when he feels Kon’s fingers run through his hair.
It’s so much longer now compared to when they first started dating, tumbling down to brush his shoulders. Kon absolutely loves it.
“Tim?” he whispers when the silences between Tim’s pleased little sounds start getting longer. It takes a solid five second before Tim hums. “You wanna go to bed?”
“Nope,” Tim murmurs after another few seconds.
Kon frowns. “You want to sleep on the couch?”
Tim hums again. “No. I want to sleep here.”
Kon tilts his head down to look at him for a few seconds. “We’re on the couch, sunshine.”
Tim makes a frustrated noise and weakly swats at his chest. Kon catches his hand and intertwines their fingers. “I want to sleep in your arms.”
That… is not what Kon was expecting. “Oh. Why?”
Finally, Tim sits up just enough to look into his eyes. They’re hazy with exhaustion, but oh so familiar. “Your arms are my safe space, so that’s where I’ll be sleeping tonight.”
“Oh,” is all Kon can say. Again. He isn’t being very eloquent tonight, so he just starts threading his hand through Tim’s hair again. “Alright.”
He leans down to kiss the top of Tim’s head and when he sits back up, he can barely see Tim’s cheeks flush before he leans his head back down against Kon’s chest.
“I love you,” he says quietly, and Kon is pretty sure he’s never smiled so widely.
“I love you too,” he whispers back.
As Tim drifts off, Kon is pretty sure he’s discovered the meaning of bliss.
Hi! Can I request a titans Drabble for Donna Troy with 60 from prompt list 5 and 100 from prompt list 2?
Characters: Reader x Donna Troy
Warnings: —
Prompt: 60. “Why does everyone think we’re dating?” & 100. “You love me?” “Of course I do, you dork.”
Word Count: 449
“It’s weird being back, huh?” you remark, dumping your bag in the corner of your old room. Donna hums in agreement, hesitantly looking around as she fiddles with the strap of her own bag. Her old room is just across the hall — the two of you had insisted on being right next to each other when you first moved into the Titans tower.
Before Donna can say anything, Hank strolls past, raising his eyebrows as he notices the two of you. He smirks slightly, leaning up against the doorframe as he asks, “You guys sharing a room this time?”
You raise an eyebrow at this, not noticing Donna’s immediate blush. “What? Why would we—”
“I think Dawn was looking for you.” Donna quickly interrupts, waving Hank off as she tries to get him to leave. Hank snorts, raising his hands up in surrender before sauntering off, and Donna slowly turns around to face you. She rolls her eyes, trying to be nonchalant as she remarks, “Hank is ridiculous.”
You narrow your eyes, slowly beginning to realise what Hank was trying to imply. Ever since you had reunited with the other Titans after defeating Trigon, you had noticed they had all started treating you and Donna differently. Dick had made a comment about being happy for the both of you, and Dawn had joked that it was about time the two of you had gotten together.
“Why does everyone think we’re dating?” you ask, and Donna gulps. Donna herself has received the same comments from your teammates, all of them grinning knowingly at her and teasing Donna about how lovingly she’s looked at you over all the years the two of you have known each other. It’s only a matter of time, she realises, before one of them reveals how in love with you she is.
“Because I’m in love with you, y/n.” Donna’s voice is barely audible, a tiny mumble, and you almost don’t quite catch the words. But your eyes widen, and you swear your heart stops in your chest.
An embarrassed look crosses Donna’s face. You blink at her, before slowly asking, “You love me?”
“Of course I do, you dork.” Donna blurts it out so fast, eyes darting away from yours. She runs a hand through her hair, muttering, “I always have.”
You stammer out something, trying to think of a response, but you find yourself marching up to her instead, grabbing her face in your hands before kissing her. You can feel Donna’s cheeks burning up in your palms, her blush illuminating her entire face red, but as you pull away, the smile on her face tells you that she couldn’t be happier.

“Training by yourself, huh?” Jason’s voice startles you out of focus, and you look up to see him standing in the doorway of the training room. You self consciously wipe the sweat off your brow, and Jason takes a step into the room as he continues, “You could’ve asked me to train with you.”
“I, um, figured I need more practice.” you shrug, and Jason nods. Dick has been working you, Jason, Gar and Rachel non stop, but you still feel as though you’re behind. Letting out a defeated sigh, you admit, “Being a Titan is a lot more work than I expected.”
Jason tilts his head. He smirks slightly, before teasing, “Aw, you look like you need a hug.”
“Don’t you dare—!” you attempt to scold, but Jason’s already slung an arm around you, pulling you closer with a triumphant smile. You pretend to scowl, but you can feel your heart skipping a beat in your chest at how close his body is to you.
“Come on, I know you wanted this.” Jason leans his face closer to you, and your breath hitches. “Especially since you’re secretly in love with me and all.”
“What are you talking about?” you splutter, wriggling out of Jason’s embrace in shock. Jason shrugs at you, and you stare at him with wide eyes, before you stammer. “How long have you known?”
“You’re so obvious.” Jason snorts, and you can feel your cheeks getting hot. Readjusting his jacket, Jason adds, “And Gar may or may not have accidentally told me.”
“Ugh,” you roll your eyes, trying to hide your embarrassment. Spinning around, you exclaim, “I’m gonna kill hi—!”
“Babe,” Jason laughs, grabbing your hand and pulling you back to him, and it takes everything within you not to melt at his touch. You turn, meeting Jason’s gaze, and Jason reassures you, “I feel the same way, don’t worry.”
You blink at him. “You do?”
Jason nods, suddenly looking bashful. “Duh. Besides, who else am I gonna crush on around here? Not like I have many options.”
You give Jason a shove, and Jason bursts into laughter. You roll your eyes, but you can’t help but laugh as Jason quickly insists, “I’m kidding, I’m kidding!”
Prompt: 19. “I’ve been up all night worrying about you!” 37. “Just… call me, okay?”
Word Count: 376
You look up as you hear approaching footsteps, and you breathe out a sigh of relief as Rose pushes the door of her bedroom open. Her eyes widen at the sight of you, but you can’t quite decipher the expression that crosses her face. She doesn’t even greet you with a smile — that small smirk of hers that always makes you feel like she’s making fun of you — and instead busies herself by opening up her closet and grabbing a backpack from the top shelf.
“Rose, where have you been?” you splutter, taken aback by her coldness. Rose has never been one to be that talkative, but you’re not used to this hostility from her. “I’ve been up all night worrying about you!”
Rose shrugs you off, grabbing some clothes and stuffing it into her bag. You stare at her, exasperated, hoping she’ll say something, but she remains silent. Moving around her so that you can stand in front of her, hoping she’ll face you, but she avoids eye contact as she continues packing.
“Where are you going?” you blurt, and Rose lets out a heavy sigh. She zips up her bag before finally looking up at you.
“I found my dad.” she finally reveals to you. All you can do is stare at her, unsure of how to process this information. Something in your stomach knots, and you can’t help but feel uneasy about the whole situation. Slinging her bag over her shoulder, she continues, “I’m going to stay with him.”
“What?” you croak out. “Rose, are you sure you can trust him? You… you barely know him.”
“Stay out of it, y/n, this is my family and my life.” Rose sharply responds, and your shoulders slump. You know once Rose sets her mind on something, there’s no changing it.
“Does he live far? Will I see you again?” you ask, your voice small, and Rose doesn’t respond. Tears sting your eyes, unsure if this is going to be goodbye, and you tell her, “Just… call me, okay?”
Rose doesn’t reply, fidgeting with the strap of her bag. Admittedly, she knew leaving you behind would be hard.
But she’s about to start a new life now, and you’re not part of it.
You startle awake as you can hear what sounds like strangled crying from the room next to you. You toss aside your covers, knowing that Gar’s bedroom is right next to yours in the Titans tower.
You open the door, finding Gar thrashing in his bed, eyes screwed shut as he’s clearly in a nightmare. Beads of sweat form on the top of his forehead, and you rush to his side in an attempt to wake him up. Trying to hold him down, you say, “Gar, wake up!”
After a few more tries, Gar’s eyes finally snap open, his vibrant green irises glowing in the darkness of the room. You quickly let go of his shoulders, raising your hands above your head as you say, “Hey, hey, it’s just me — don’t freak out.”
Gar looks around the room, his eyes slowly turning back to normal. His shoulders slump, and he buries his face in his hands as you move to sit beside him on the edge of his bed. This isn’t the first time he’s had bad nightmares, and this isn’t the first time you’ve had to save him from them. Ever since his time in Cadmus, after all the horrendous torture he went through, Gar hasn’t been able to sleep properly.
“Do you want to talk about it?” you gently ask, rubbing your hand up and down Gar’s back in an attempt to soothe him. Gar takes in a shaky breath, before shaking his head, and you nod.
“Can you just stay with me?” Gar asks, and you nod again. You can see the terrified look in his eyes as he continues, “I don’t want to be alone.”
“Of course.” you wrap your arms around him in a hug, and Gar nestles his face into your shoulder. He wraps his arms around you, feeling safe in your arms, and Gar hopes that just for tonight, with you by his side, he can forget about Cadmus for a bit.
Can I get a Drabble for Rita Farr from doom patrol with 97 and 50 from prompt list 1?
Characters: Reader x Rita Farr
Warnings: —
Prompt: 50. “I just want to kiss you right now.” & 97. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
Word Count: 344
A/N: hope it’s okay!!!

Rita notices you sneaking glances at her by the third time you’ve looked up from your book. She ignores it a few more times, not wanting to confront you about it, but she lets out a sigh as it eventually becomes too obvious to ignore. The two of you are sitting in the study, quietly reading to yourselves in armchairs situated opposite one another, enjoying the quiet afternoon with each other.
Rita sets her book down, smoothing her hands over her skirt. “Alright, spit it out.”
Your cheeks get hot. You flip a page, trying to appear nonchalant. “Spit what out.”
Rita shoots you a look with a raised brow. “y/n, dear, I’m afraid you’re not quite as subtle as you think.”
You finally set your book down, nervously meeting Rita’s gaze, knowing you’ve been caught red handed. You still attempt to play dumb as you respond, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Well, I just...” Rita splutters, unsure of how to articulate herself. Gesturing to you, she finally asks, “Why are you looking at me like that?”
“Like what?” you ask, and Rita lets out a sigh, brushing her hair out of her eyes.
“I don’t know!” she says, the frustration evident in her voice. “You’ve been staring at me all afternoon.”
You anxiously chew on your lip, feeling yourself getting increasingly flustered under Rita’s gaze. Finally unable to hide from the truth anymore, you blurt, “I just want to kiss you right now.”
Rita’s eyes widen at this, and you feel like you’re about to self destruct. You anxiously wring your hands together, and a small smile settles on Rita’s face. She shrugs, trying to be casual as she folds her hands into her lap and asks, “Well... why don’t you?”
You blink at her, before mustering up the courage to get to your feet. Rita’s breath hitches as you walk over to her, bending down so your faces are level. You both exchange shy smiles, and you can barely contain your happiness as you lean in to kiss her.
